I bought a cheap computer chair and found that its seat was very uncomfortable. After a couple hours in the chair my butt would be aching.I bought this cushion to fix this problem and it is an all around improvement. I sometimes literally sit in it all day at my computer (I am a programmer) and I have never been fatigued like I have without the cushion. I was somewhat worried about the gap at the back of the cushion since I have never used a cushion like it before but I don't even notice that it is there (which is a good thing). The rest of the shape of the cushion conforms great to my legs and I think even helps with my posture.I rarely have to scoot the cushion back as it mostly stays in place though I would assume that it would depend on the material of the chair it is on. I also use it conjunction with a back pad and have had no problems with the combination.For the fact that I can sit in it all day without fatigue alone, this cushion deserves five stars.

very comfy, due to the added height it does not work with the chair I had hoped. But the product is well made and feels good.Putting this cushion in my car makes it bearable to drive. I got a second one and the quality was not nearly as good so there are some quality control issues. I have ordered a third one so I do not have to schlep it from home to car and hope it is of the better quality I received with the first one.It is also great to have under you if you lay down on a yoga mat for repose.

Giving this a 3.5 but not a 4.When I first got it, my lower back took about three days to get used to it. It was very sore while my lower back muscles adjusted to this different cushion than what I've been used to. After getting used to it, I don't feel the lower back soreness, and I feel like it's a good cushion in terms of the foam quality. It does slide out of my chair so I will have to use baby pins or sew it down to the chair.

I bought this in early 2016 in desperation as I had been experiencing extreme sciatica pain for months and I could barely handle sitting for more than a few minutes, even while taking lots of pain meds at the time. It didn't take the pain away, but I never would have imagined such a simple thing could make such a HUGE difference! I thought it was just a stupid cushion, but it made sitting down significantly more bearable, and in almost 2 years since buying it it's become my new accessory and I don't go anywhere without it. I'm a big guy, 6'3" & 235 lbs., it's only just recently begun to lose it's shape and firmness and I'm writing this review after buying my 2nd one.

I didn't find that it was comfortable or helped my back at all. In fact, I think my back hurt more. I have really bad arthritis in my low back and was hoping that this would help since I sit all day. I wasn't happy at all with it.

Completely worthless. Has ZERO padding or cushion under your actual bones. I don't know what this was supposed to accomplish but whatever it was, it doesn't. Complete and utter disappointment. Within the first hour I threw it off the chair and wrote it off as a waste of money (annoyed to say least). Keep looking elsewhere.

I like to tip back in my office chair and the seat cushion was to far forward to provide any comfort. So I kind of tossed it off to the side and was ready to write it off. I couldn't give it a review since I wasn't using it. But fast forward a month and my wife was complaining that her chair at work was bothering her lower back. I bought this cushion as a Christmas gift for my mother who has hip and back problems due to age and arthritis. She LOVES this cushion it helps her hips and back feel so much better no matter what kind of chair she is sitting in. I did have to send one back as it had a small rip on the corner, but the company was amazing to work with. I submitted the refund via Amazon and a member of the company emailed me the next day. They sent me a new cushion and we have had no issues. I highly recommend this product!!
