Kind of an eyesore
I wanted to like this shelf, but I just can’t. I bought it to put over my toaster oven and hopefully store additional items on top. It looks big and awkward on my counter, and it’s too tall to store anything. It may be because I have cabinets over my counters, but it just doesn’t work.As far as the construction of the unit, it’s pretty cheap ( I didn’t have high expectations for this price point). The white metal had rust-colored areas that didn’t come off. I was afraid that the shelf would crack where it attaches to the metal. I ended up immediately replacing this with an adjustable wire shelf, and it’s so much better.
