A really nice USB-C hub with every port you need
Okay so I've been testing this out for about two weeks. You can find the full video review over on my YouTube or Facebook channel "OndaWire". Okay so first impressions coming out of the box, I love the simple packaging and from the feel of this hub, it seems that it is made out of all plastic, so it is not heavy by any means. Being made out of plastic is probably a good thing because if this was made out of metal, it would probably get really hot.Now let's jump into the pros of this hub.1. Over the two-week period that I've been using this, it has not gotten hot at all. I do a lot of video editing and I love how it has the TF card readers because my MacBook Pro does not have that, so this definitely helps.2. The HDMI port has been amazing. I love the quality it puts out on my extended monitors and it fits tightly so there is no static or interruption from the cable wobbling or moving around.3. I really like how all 3 USB 3.0 ports are all next to each other and on the same side. I've experience other hubs in the past where there would be one USB 3.0 port on the end, one on one side, and one on another side. That was just a headache having them all over the place so that's a definite bonus for me.4. After doing clock speeds, the ethernet puts out exactly what my internet speeds are supposed to. I did notice when using the ethernet, HDMI and 2 of the USB 3.0 ports all together, this hub did get a little warm but nothing to worry about at all. If you really understand all the power being used and generated using all of that you would understand. lol It truly stood the usage test. Now lets talk about some cons (my experience)1. I do a lot of talk to text (type) and one thing I noticed when using this hub, is my internal microphone on my Macbook will not work. Basically I'm forced to use the headphone/mic jack on the hub and that was something I did not like. There is a solution. In order for my microphone on my Macbook to work I either have to unplug the hub and use my Mackbook's mic that way OR get an external microphone and plug that into the 3.5mm headphone/mic jack on this hub. That was really the only con with this USB-C hub that I found and again, this is only important me because I use talk to text (type) a lot.2. This isn't really a con but I wish there were labels on the casing that tell me where and what ports are which instead of me having to always grab the hub and flip it around to see where the ports are.In short, this is an awesome hub and truly everything you need when it comes to ports for a computer, this has! Outside of the microphone situation I talked about, which probably doesn't mean much to most, this is definitely a must have hub and one you will be happy with.

Nice little hub
Overall a great hub. The HDMI works instantly on the MacBook Pro 2018, something Apple can't figure out still. Read/Write speeds for USB and SD seem perfectly fine. The USB-C port does not provide PD or fast charging to devices which was a bit disappointing. You can plug a PD charger into the USB-C port and it will provide PD to the device plugged in, just not the other way. The hub also warms up a little with extended heavy use, nothing crazy but there is plenty of real estate on the back of the hub that could have been for ventilation to be able to help in that department.Overall I am pleased with this hub, I will probably swap out my Apple one for this as long as it continues to be reliable. For a full detailed review of this hub, check out my Amazon Profile for a link to my YouTube page!

Great Multifunction USB 3.1 Type-C Hub!
It's a great little hub, very compact but packs a load of features and functions into one tiny package. One Hub to Rule Them All (Yes, I went there...)
(Disclaimer: I was given one of these hubs to test, but this is my unbiased review.)I'm not sure why they market and list this as Mac/Chromebook-centric device hub, because I'm using this on my Windows 10 gaming laptop. I have it connected to its USB-C port and for the past 3-4 days have used this thing to connect my Zoom H1 mic for recording/uploads, to transfer files from my camera's SD card to the PC, to charge my USB-C phone (this hub has a pass-through) - all without a hitch. The build quality is pretty good for the price, although there are some rough spots where the pressed aluminum meets the plastic molding. I've only had it for 4 days, so too early to tell about longevity of the ports, but I've no reason to doubt that they should be at least industry average.Another reviewer had mentioned that the USB-C cable is stiff and I agree with that. I understand that it probably was made this way to prevent the cable core or sheath from failing, but perhaps a braided sheath would've been better for strength and flexibility as well. One thing's for sure, I'm happy to have this in my YouTuber arsenal - I can connect many devices to it and have all their cables tucked to one side, rather than cluttering the area around my laptop and using up all its ports.

UPDATE. Ethernet failure. Update 10/20/20 2nd unit Failed.
Spent the better part of the day diagnosing why my computer was slow. Stupid me. Overlooked that it had switched to wifi due to the hub failing to communicate / connect with ethernet. Am requesting an exchange or refund. This is the 5th hub I've purchased (different brands) and the only one that works with most connections. Type C, HDMI (supports 27" HD monitor), audio (that I connect to an AVR), and even a "Logitech unifying receiver" for a mouse. All devices function. Additionally, it does not get warm to touch. The one negative, if you plug in a USB external hard drive, the HDMI signal fails. That's an easy work around plugging the external HD into the computer as needed (Dell 7390).
