I never had adequate lighting in my work shop. I had 4 tube lights that never seem to work right. When I started on my quest for LED lights, I was not impressed with what was available. Most of what I found cost too much and were about the same brightness as what I had. I needed something brighter, because I had a drop ceiling. I also wanted something that I could swap out with little effort.When I first got these I was thinking they were going to be too bright. They are blinding. But after I installed them and put in the clear ceiling tiles, the lighting is perfect. My old lights were hard wired, so I did the same with these. I cut 2 boards, 8" long (1-1/2" x 3/4") to drop the lights down to where I wanted. I screwed the light clamp onto the end of the board and then used 2 C-clamps to hold the sticks in place while I positioned the lights. Once I was happy, I screw the board into the overhead beam and I was done. I did it this way to keep the lights down and away from the beams and installation. They don't get too hot, but I wasn't going to take any changes.All in all, I would say these are perfect for my work shop. I can honestly say, I will not miss those tube lights one bit.

Just got today. Install 3 of the 8 I bought. Oh hell yeah. These thing are amazing. One will replace a 2 bulb t8. More light from one to 2 t8. No warm up time. Just bright clean light. Very easy to mount. 2 screws and 2 mounting brackets. No need to hit wood. Just straight on the drywall is all that is needed. Very very light.it only draws 20 watts pre light. And dose t8s. Best new light on the market. Very reusable in price if you break down the cost of t8 bulbs and fixtures. Not sure how long these will last. Time will tell. They clame LED will last longer then any bulbs. But not been my experience so far. If I can get 5 year out them I have no complaint. Will keep you posted.

These units are good workmanship and quality. The clips for mounting to the ceiling are a little on the flimsy side but they hold the assembly firmly; just make sure you don't over tighten the mounting screw or the bracket will distort.I put eight of these in my shop and it was an over kill (shop is 18 x 34 ) A little on the bright side; ended up placing the two strings of four on a switched duplex outlet. Now I can select either or both sides. They have been up for four months now with no problems. Four stars on value because each fixture ships with a switched line cord; in a typical application several (no more than 4) in a strin would need only ONE switched line and Three interconnects (not included) Had to purchace a packet of interconnects for each strint; at additional expense.

I stuck this up in my 1000sq ft garage and it lights it up great. I also have it plugged into an Alexa plug to make it even easier.Some of the clips wear out quickly and the lights can fall out. But there are two clips for each light and I haven’t had both clips fail on the same light....yet.

Nice lights. Not dimmable though which was a deal breaker for me. Still, lot of light for the money.

Item was exactly what it was advertised to be was easy to install and lit up the garage right nobody's business

they are very bright and worth the money, better then the hanging fluorescent tube which we all have. I have been using them for about 6 months and have no issues.

Installed 4 of these lights in my garage this past weekend. So far very impressed with the brightness of these lights. The angled light output helps to distribute the light evenly to the walls. I have a 1.5 car garage(dimensions 15' wide, 25' long and height is stepped with lower being 12' and higher being 15'), and 4 lights fills the garage perfectly with light. Tested lights in daytime with overhead door closed and the lights make a noticeable difference, and obviously at night, the lights make it feel like daytime. Only reason this review gets 4 stars is one of the lights has a gold metal plug rolling around inside of it from one of the end connectors. It was like that from when I opened the box. Upon inspection, it is from one end of the light, which means I just have to plug in the power from the other end, and either leave this as a single light by itself, or at the end of a chain of lights.

We love these lights. They are so easy to use and install. We were able to use them as portable lighting during our renovation, because they can be plugged in anywhere. They are incredibly light and durable. We knocked them over more than once, and they kept on working. We installed them on the ceiling of our space and wired them up to on/off switches. We used dimmer switches, but they don't seem to be dimmable. But since they never claimed to be, it isn't an issue. We used two rows of five LED tubes in our space, but could have gotten away with less for sure. The part of our space that we used them in is 50'Lx15'Wx14'H. We highly recommend these lights.

These led lights are fantastic. very light weight and easy install. great illumination 400% better than fluorescent. i have low ceilings and they do a great job. The first 8 worked so good i purchased the second set of 8. Time will tell if they stay working! You can install them in series, and one tube wouldn't work in series. fast delivery and packaged well.

I have just installed the lights yesterday in my shop, shop size is 24x30ft 10ft sealing, they were easy to install, 8- 4ft lights in total 2 rows of 4 it appears to be adequate lighting for the space

Throw an amazing amount of nice, clean light. Super light, installed them in minutes. Ended up getting a whole extra set of 8 for a friend's garage the price was so good.

These lights work great in my garage.They are light, easy to install and throw good bright light.They came packaged well, so the product was not damaged during shipping.

Much much brighter and whiter than my high output very expensive T5 florecent fixtures at 1/4 the draw.
