Great Scope for 22 LR rifle
It took a couple of trips to firing range but I finally got the scoped sited in. The optics are clear an the large object allows you to see clearly through the scope, unlike cheaper scopes which is like looking down a tunnel or pipe. In fact, the range was out of rental spotting scopes, so I used the rifle scope as a make shift spotting scope for my children who were shooting open sites.Windage was a couple of clicks off and eventually had to dial the yardage to 135 yards to get the rounds to hit center on the target at 50 yards; then I carefully loosed the set screws, pulled up the dial straight up, aligned the 50 yard marking with the reference mark on the scope, pressed the dial straight down and tightened the set screws.Though I was a little disappointed that the elevation was not better set at the factory, which is very minor compared to the quality of this great scope, which is now on sale for even less than I paid for it and that was a great price!Scope comes with lens covers connected by black rubber straps and 3 - 22LR dials for 36 grain, 38 grain and 40 Grain bullet weight along with the factory installed .17 HMR 30/30 dial.I may get the add-on flip up lens protectors made by Butler Creek, but going to wait on that for a while. Besides there are lot of other accessories I need to get for my Ruger 10/22.I ordered scope with Ruger style high rings, but the mount rings were made incorrectly at the factory and would not lock down. I returned them and was promptly refunded for the mount rings. Ended up with Weaver or dove tail style high mount rings I bought at Cabela's. Make sure you get the high rings because of the 44 mm Outer diameter of the main lens housing.I was so impressed by the optics on this scope, I bought a Barska compact spotting scope (on sale it turns out). Haven't had a chance to use it yet but took a peaked through the spotting scope it and the rifle scope optics are better but the rifle scope is also 3 times the price so it should be better! I will be taking my good photographic tripod instead of using the plastic tripod that comes with the spotting scope and its cheap enough that if the children break it I won't be too upset.

? Barska Warranty ?
Barska charges the customer a $25 fee for "inspection" and return shipping - even if the scope has a manufacturing defect. Sounds like Barska does not have much confidence in its rifle scopes to have such a proportionally high fee (27% of my purchase price). This $25 fee clearly will discourage many customers from pursuing a warranty claim with Barska. In addition, the customer must pay the return shipping to Barska and repairs take "6-8 weeks" - way too long when you actually need a scope. Otherwise, the scope has a bright sight picture, fits well in a medium mount & elevation turret change was easy. I have not yet had the scope out at my range for zeroing or firing.

but I will say that it is better than the BSA scope that it is replacing
For the money it is OK. The clarity is so so, but I will say that it is better than the BSA scope that it is replacing.

Same as the rest
For the options this scope has, I had high expectations. Fast shipping, actually got it earlier than expected.Pulled it out of the box took a peak through. Then I turnd the magnification ring. Waa Waa Waaaaa. Watched as the cross hairs rotated to a 45 deg angle.Sent it back the next morning. $25 and 6 to 8 weeks for a fix.

Not very good. Unusable.
Positive, the scope has turrets for .22 LR they are easy to change and adjust, very clear focus and and looks great at full power.Negative. It starting turning the rectile when I adjusted the zoom. Also it lost it's zero and no longer worked.I guess you get what you pay for. In this case I had something that only the trash can could accept.

Would recommend to anyone for .17hmr or 22wmr
Incredible scope for the money. Put on my Savage 93 wmr and I can put 25 shots all in the red on a shoot n see target at 100 yds shooting off a table with a bipod. Doesn't need adjustment after transporting and bumping, and the range on the turrets and focus are insanely accurate for the price. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Cheap and waste of money!!!
Do not buy this scope!!! The reticle turns with the zoom ring. Wish I would have read reviews better before buying. They charge shipping and handling fee to honor warranty. STAY AWAY!!!!

preset for the17 hmr
One of the easiest scopes to mount and set up on my 17hmr rifle. The ability to use the dial to set the shooting distance, and then set the cross hairs on the target, make it a blast and a breeze to shoot.

Works fine
Scope works fine. It is definitely not on par with a high end scope, so if you think it should be you will be disappointed, but works fine and does the job well considering the low cost of it.

Sent me a broken one with a note in it saying it was broken
It was broken before it even got to me. It had a note on top of it as soon as I pulled it out the box from the previous unlucky fella stating the crosshairs spun with the zoom function. Well he was right she’s F’d. Sending this nice aluminum tube back and hopefully there’s a replacement for it.

Very poor
Very poor even for a cheaper optic. Put it on my rifle and levelled it perfectly only to look through the scope and discover the crosshairs are on almost a 45° angle. Not worth the money and unfortunately it was purchased to long ago to return it.
