Works great. Almost perfect
So I purchased this along with four Dayton audio bass Shakers. I had no problem connecting for bay shakers together and wiring this up. I connected this to my system with a wireless receiver from SVS. In my rating I said this is almost perfect so here’s a few things that need to be changed. Cut off level adjustment in balance adjustment need to have physical knobs instead of screw slots. And the other big thing this needs is a volume level indicator because you have no idea how loud you have this and you just adjust it by feel. Yes feel is very important but I volume level indicator or even making this a knob would be helpful with settings.Overall I am very pleased and satisfied and Would by again.

Very happy so far!
I just dove into the world of bass shakers after being curious for years. It’s one of the best upgrades I ever made. I don’t have a dedicated home theater room and I have kids. For that reason, I like that the unit is compact and doesn’t have any buttons that kids could tamper with.At this price point, this specialized amp competes with some lower cost “regular amps” from Behringer and others. I like that this amp runs cool and does not have fan noise, which was important to me. I’m happy with my purchase and am glad this specialized unit exists. The manual is a little light but the online support team is knowledgeable and quick to respond. The wired remote that comes with it is an interesting concept, although if you have a spare subwoofer out on your processor to use it would be more convenient to manage levels via that. The volume dial has 20 clicks total, each an adjustment worth ~5% in volume. It’s not great that the unit loses the last volume setting when disconnected from power for a while, but I can live with noting down my preferred setting and dialing back in when needed. I was initially worried whether this amp would have enough power to drive my earthquake MBQ-1 but it’s got plenty of headroom. I had to turn it down quite a bit to blend it with my system. I still have it on the punchier side, but the amp is still capable of more.I feel like $199 would be an incredible price/value for a device like this - since it’s pretty specialized and I likely would not use this to power speakers - but even at the $279 I paid I’m happy with the purchase.

Fun addition to your sound system
I added this coupled with the Dayton Audio BST-1s to my couch. It really increases the immersive effect especially in action movies. Positively startling for explosions, crashes, aircraft sounds. My wife is usually skeptical about changes like this, but she liked it as well.

Dead on arrival.
I have an old NHT that is going out so I wanted to update my sub amp… well I got this yesterday and it was returned today. I was super excited to hear what 230w was going to sound and feel like but there was nothing. Two of the potentiometers (volume and Hz control) had no stop to them, they would just spin eternally. Turning them in either direction made no difference. The balance had a left and right stop position so I’m assuming there was something wrong with the pots. Maybe I just got a bad one but I’m not taking my chances with a replacement. Probably going to look for a used unit from a more reputable brand. I’m not upset it was just a little bit of a bummer.

Speaker Posts Came Undone While Setting It Up
I’m torn by this review. On one hand, once I had this setup, this thing works great. I did have one problem though. When I went to unscrew the speaker ports on the back, one of them loosened itself from its mounting on the case. I had to open the entire case so I could go in with a needle nose pliers and tighten the post back up. Opening the thing up wasn’t easy either. There have to be about 15 screws securing the lid to the enclosure. After opening it up, it was a simple procedure to tighten the post, and took maybe about an hour. This wasn’t something I intended to do and I’m a little bummed it needed to be done.Either way, it works great now, and I decided to not use the screws for speakers and switched to using banana plugs instead.

Reliable warranty
I bought it over a year and half with an excellent performance but it stopped ✋️ working properly no shaking a constat vibration instead. So a check everything and called Dayton Audio they asked me for the Amazon invoice number the explain how to checked again and sent me a brand new unit. The new one have a rotary volume instead of the push button on remote.Got installed back in business again I can't complain. Thank you Dayton Audio.

Great amp for bass shakers.
This product does clip a little bit when it is on full power. If he turned the power down a little bit it won't clip. I have 4 shakers connected to this and they work great.
