Initially, this was a very frustrating purchase, because the majority of the reviews were very positive, and mentioned nothing about the product's quality or durability..I only had the product out of the box for maybe 30 minutes when I noticed the plastic lens was already scratched. I thought my 8 year old must surely must have been using a pen or something when I wasn’t looking, but no, the plastic lens material is so soft, a fingernail can leave a lasting scratch on its surface. The seller was quick to refund my money, but good service on a marginal product, still results in a very frustrating buying experience. This tablet was a colossal disappointment. Spend another $20-30 and get a name brand on sale, you’ll be much, much happier..*******Updated 8/24/15:.The seller contacted me, and in an effort to prove that my “bad” experience was NOT representative of the average buyer’s experience, he offered to send me another tablet FREE of charge. *Kudos to the seller for standing behind his product.*.I accepted, with the condition that I would update my review accordingly. So….. the seller sent me another tablet to try (actually an improved model – with more memory, kudos again). The “new improved” tablet was also very susceptible to scratches on the lens. Again, within 60 minutes of letting my 8 year old use it, it also had light surface scratches on the viewing surface. I think this is a function of using a plastic lens, rather than hardened glass, like its more expensive brand name counterparts. Again, the seller's service is phenomenal, but the product itself is “meh”. If the seller ever ups his product offering, I would buy from him again in a heartbeat. I just wouldn't buy an Osgar..The bottom line: Unfortunately, the 2nd tablet didn't sway me. I would still advise others to spend extra to buy a brand name counterpart.

Simply put, you get what you pay for. If you are some technology nerd who wants super fast speeds and tons of cool new things all the time, move along. This is however, great for kids who are getting their first tablet. My son and two daughters just each got one in their favorite colors. Here is what is great about these:You can create customized profiles for users. You can password protect your account. You can turn on and off the apps you want your user to have access to. For example, you can turn off the browser, but leave the Wi-Fi on for something like YouTube Kids. You can turn off everything that children should not have access to and not have to worry! These are great! my kids can play them non-stop for about half they time they are awake in a day. The picture on this tablet is pretty nice for this price. I have seen some that cost more and do far less.What could be improved:it would be nice if all the apps work, but under a restricted profile you do have to sign into Google Play and it is difficult to setup some of the apps with permissions. I tried to get the digital copies of movies from Disney Movies Anywhere to download and only got one to do it. Some licensing issue. The major issue I have is the headphone jack. With or without the silicone case on it that I purchased separately, the headphones do not seem to stay connected.Overall, this is a great little tablet and I would recommend it for any and all children. I am honestly going to buy one for myself. Just haven't decided if I want the 10.1" or not. This works beautifully and even great with Netflix. You totally need to buy this if you want a good quality (it's no iPad so don't expect it) for a low price.

I am incredibly disappointed by this product and the quality. I purchased this for my son to have for simple gaming and occasional internet use at school. The screen is incredibly cheap. The screen has a strange glare to it from the inside that makes it very difficult to see what is displayed. You have to hold it at just the right angle to see it. The screen scratched up immediately from normal use and made it even harder to view the screen.I gave this to him as a Christmas present. He has been VERY careful with it since day one. He has not even used it a month and yesterday when it bumped off a low coffee table, apparently that was all it needed to stop working. The screen is blank and it will not function at all now.While my son enjoyed it for the 3 weeks he used it, this was a complete waste of money for us. If you are planning to buy a tablet, save up the extra money and get one that is actually worth the money you spent on it. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Overall, this is a great purchase for the price. It performs well and has adequate space with a 16 GB HD with an micro-SD slot for expansion. Kitkat runs well on the system. The speakers aren't very loud but have found that to be typical for small tablets. The battery does runs down faster than I'd like, but for 50$ I really can't complain. I immediately ordered the Osgar Defender Series rubber case for protection. I wouldn't buy this tablet for a young child. If you want an android tablet that will survive a child, I'd recommend spending more money (such as Samsung Galaxy Tabs, my son has had his for 3 years and drops it almost daily).

ordered 4 of these, not bad for a china knockoff they were all pretty good tablets 16gb storage for $50 its unheard of in a tablet. They respond decently to touch input and don't have much lag to them with high graphic games.They are how ever very fragile. These are for kids and the screens break way to easy it should come with something to protect them with out having to order anything extra but I have recommended them to others and if I need a cheap tablet quickly I would order them again

I honestly don't know what people are expecting from this tablet,like something similar to the iPad or kindle fire hdx? This tablet is pretty good for 50$ & it has 16gb because if you go to internal storage in settings it clearly tells you how much memory space you have.The only minor issue I've noticed is the short battery life but then again 50$..😐
