Very easy; installed in-store bought curtains
I had inexpensive store-bought curtains I liked in terms of pattern/color, but they were rod pocket and didn't open and close easily. Bought these and cut holes right through the rod pocket area to install. Worked great. The included template to cut holes worked perfectly. It's plastic, so doesn't get ripped up as you go. I used the edge of it to align with the top of my curtain, which made it easy to get them spaced evenly from top.Grommets snap together easily and have a small slot to insert a screwdriver or something shylist to pry them back apart and reuse them. So if you replace your curtains later, you could reuse the grommets.I put fray check on the edges of the holes I cut before putting the grommets on out of caution. This was mostly because my fabric type was one that can create runs. I'd probably have done it anyway to be safe, but I doubt with a more stable fabric you'd need anything. The grommets snapped snugly and the fabric doesn't seem to have any slide so I probably didn't even need the fray check on mine.I have 2 layers of thin to medium thickness fabric between the grommets and it fits well. On bottom edges probably caught 3 layers (picking up part of a doubled edge hem) Didn't try on anything thicker.Haven't washed yet.

Works perfectly!
Yes they are plastic grommets, as most premade curtains have anyway. You can't tell once they're up on a rod. They're super easy (and fun) to install. Some complained that directions weren't clear but really, you don't need to be rocket scientist to figure it out. (You can also YouTube for directions) They're basically giant snaps. You merely only need to cut the holes on your fabric/curtain panel using the template. Trace a circle with a pencil and cut on the line. The end result looks great!

Can be taken apart--. --. Order two packs for wider drapes. Spread apart every 7". Works best. !!
They worked great. Love um. They can be unsnapped An replaced if you don't clamp perfectly first time !!!

Eyelets are good. The template isn't great.
I used the template to cut my first hole only to realize it's nearly exactly the size of the outer diameter of the ring that clamps the fabric. This meant the alignment had to be perfect to catch the edges of the hole, tough to do with fabric. After learning this I cut the rest of the holes about 1/16" smaller than the circle and that worked well. In short, good product and great price.

Never Thought This Would Work
I needed large grommets for a bag I was making and could not find any in bag making supplies, so I thought I would try these. They worked wonderfully and I am going to make that bag again because I sold it.

Great product!
I bought curtains with grommets and had sheers already that I wanted to use. They were super easy to install and the price was awesome. They’re plastic but once they’re up next to the curtains with the metal ones you can’t tell the difference.

Not for Blackout Curtains
I tried these on my blackout curtains and I couldn't get them to snap shut. I ended up throwing out the curtain I ruined, donated the others, and bought curtains that already have grommets.

Easy to use
I live in a historic house with a variety of window shapes and sizes, so I make my own curtains. These grommets were super simple to use. The included stencil for cutting worked great. I would suggest cutting the circle small at first to see how your fabric stretches to the grommets. I would definitely buy these again.

Easy to use! Would buy again
Super easy to use I would cut the hole a bit smaller than suggests - that worked better for my fabric since my fabric had some give to it. Very quick to install once you get a hang of it after the first one. Really happy with this purchase especially for the price point.

They do not hold up
Although these seem like they will work - they are made of plastic and do not hold up to the drapes being pulled back and forth.
