i have both the thrustmaster handbrake and shifter, the shifter sits perfectly and the handbrake sits at a great position, ideal mounting position

Its kind of expensive for what it is... its just a clamp after all... but it does the job well.

Very well constructed.
The clamp area is large and gives it a solid mount. The controllers mount solidly as well. I am very pleased.

Well built but troublesome to assemble.
Its big its beefy. Built specifically for the TM hand brake but others will work, if your handy with a drill and have a drawer full of nuts and bolts. The chineese hand brakes fit with a little work.The shifter bracket that comes with it is desighned to bolt to the side of the TM hand brake.It sure as s#!@ dosent bolt onto the side of main frame. Had to drill 2 holes through the bracket and frame and bolt it in place. Whats up with that TM? Nothing lines up and the included hardware has no nuts?For the 129.00 price tag one would think i wouldnt need to drill holes to attatch a included bracket.

Missing Parts/Hardware
I hate ordering something that have missing hardware needed for assembling the clamp with my handbrake and shifter. I can't even comment on how good or bad the item is until I get the missing parts/hardware. Maybe I'll just return the whole thing and reorder it or maybe not. Either way, this is frigging annoying...

Top quality ... I did not need it and cannot return or resell.
This console is to hold a racing style hand brake.We did not buy this hand break. We thought it is needed for the manual shifter.As most of you are going to be sitting at a normal desk you have no other option but to clamp this thing to the desk. That is great if you had a hand brake.If you do not have it and use this console for the manual stick shift ... then the whole setup is now so high that it becomes totally unrealistic and quite unpleasant.What we basically ended up doing was take a large cutting board, sit on it and mount the manual shifter on the right. VERY realistic and nice.This console is really well built ... expensive and ... collecting dust.So, there's that.
