I did my share of research on many cocktail sets over the course of 2 years but never jumped on anything until I saw this one set. Coming from a plastic cocktail shaker I've used over the years, asking bartenders that I came across with my experience and research... I have to say I am very pleased with this set. I'm no expert on making any drinks but I do make some nice Apple Martinis, ask my better half lol. Here's my take on this set since other reviews have been somewhat helpful but not thorough enough for others to feel comfortable buying. It also arrived quickly but that is something of a hit or miss in general when it comes to online shopping and also if you have prime.Pros & Each piece uses:- Many people say presentations mean a lot or everything, I tend to agree to the first but more about quality that anything (I'll get to that later) but either way this set comes in a nice gift box so that any person can have as a gift set and can be stored neatly away.- This may be minor but I do like to add it anyway since it fits in the category of presentation... The box has small little sayings and a nice little card with another introductory index card that breaks things down of what you get and it may not mean much to others but it's the small tidbits and details that matters.- This set is not like others where you get 10 to 15 plus items that you may or may not use but comes with the essential ones that we use most, or this case, I use most that wont need to be packed away or lost. Each has a nice metallic coating of some sort that feels nice to the touch. It is very sturdy and solid high quality. Has a hint of the color bronze/dark grey to it that stands out compared to most I've seen but you can actually see that in the pictures from the seller.- The shaker feels smooth and the coating or whatever added to it might by the reason why, hence the pictured description of it being 0.88 thick. The color and shine in the pictures does not do it justice, seeing now in my hand you can see the time was well spent creating it. I can easily make 2 drinks at once. It has a good seal to it without worry. I've used it about 3 times so far just to get the feel for it and it’s much better than what I have. Cold to the touch but not freezing, the sound reminds me of going to the bar and listening to what the bartender is preparing for me. Just thought it was amusing.- The Double jigger is simple to use, it has small grooves so you can see the measurements. Handy...- The pourer is something everyone should have at least 1 of. Some sets online don’t offer it and has other pieces but it makes things so much easier and mess free. This one fits the bar.- Strainer is hawthorne style and fits very well, fairly common at the bar and simple to rinse out and maintain.- I've only used the spoon a little bit but a spoon is a spoon but obviously its made long enough to use compared to me just grabbing a kitchen spoon and scratching anything.- Mesh strainer and Muddler I haven't used yet but will eventually when I have company over.Cons:- This is minor one but I would have liked a number stamped in the jigger to know what measurements were what but after using it a couple of times, you get the idea which is which.

Looking through Amazon for a shaker set was a bit overwhelming at first as there were so many to chose from, how was I to know what was going to be a quality set to buy? I ran across Nou Living's Shaker Set and bit the bullet on it based on the current reviews and it was the design preference I was looking for. After receiving the set i cleaned it up and ensured everything was as advertised. I noticed that inside the shaker there was a small blemish I thought was rust, but after inspecting it it just seemed like an imperfection in the metal work which at this price point I didn't expect to see. I reached out and asked about the issue just to ensure that this set would hold up and not rust. Seller responded extremely quick (mind you this was near midnight!) and ensured me of the quality of the set, to set any concerns on their product they sent me a replacement piece the next day. This kind of customer service is what makes this piece stand out from the rest! That and the amazing look and design of the set! Very happy and would recommend!

This cocktail set comes in a very masculine box. It has an elegant presentation and worked nicely as a gift for my husband. He opened it up and made us a couple of drinks right away. The set has everything you need. The strainer worked fine and liquor pourer fit nicely into our bottles. I like a freezing cold shaker and this one didn't disappoint. Like the Moscow Mules that I like to drink, the shaker had freezing condensation on the outside. The shaker also "crisps up" to a more steely-looking finish when it is cold which adds to the preparation and presentation. The set arrived on time and was generally in good shape. The only reason that I did not rate this set a 5/5 is because the jigger had some minor scratches on the outside which we decided to live with.

Was delivered to the office today and when I opened it everyone couldn’t stop checking it out and commenting on it.It looked really good in the video and pictures but it doesn’t do it justice! Looks much much better in person and feels nice to hold. Feels high quality and well made - solid, thick and study.The colour on this cocktail bar set is really something else..WOW. The shaker really stands out and is unique. Glad I got this instead of the standard silver colour sets.Loving the finer details on each piece - the two-tone design on the measuring jigger really pops and the measurement markers in the jigger are etched in which is good so it won’t rub out.The pattern on the strainer is unique and the strainer fits on the shaker perfectly.Overall very pleased with this purchase. Great value for the price. Excited to use it and show it off this weekend when the girls come over!

I’ve been on the hunt for a new cocktail set for a while now. I came across Nou Living and the gun metal black immediately caught my attention, and the fact that it was very reasonably priced.Delivery was prompt. The cocktail set exceeded expectations. It is one very ‘sexy’ cocktail set of great quality. Very aesthetically appealing, sturdy and easy to use. The set has everything you’d need for a home bar. It is beautifully presented in a lovely box, it would also make a great gift for any cocktail enthusiast.I also contacted the seller prior to buying to ask a few questions about the set. Seller was very helpful and knowledgeable about the product. Overall, a delightful experience and I would happily recommend this product without hesitation.
