Good solution to allow red dot sight on an old shotgun
Easy to install. Rigid enough for a light red dot sight. Can still use iron (ball) sight by peeking under mount but view blocked if red dot not taken off. Red dot seems to hold alignment if taken off and replaced with a little pressure bias while clamping onto rail.

Great Fit for 870
I mounted this on an 870 and got my first deer with a shotgun. It held the red dot perfectly through sighting in and hunting. Very stable and there are screws that replace the pins that hold the trigger assembly in place to tighten it down.

It fits fine on a 20 gauge
I ordered this for my 20 gauge wing master shotgun, after reading the reviews saying it's for a 12 gauge... LOL People have to understand what Type and Model you have plus the Serial number. If it matches it will fit.

Sharp edge cut my finger.
After mounting I tried this out. The sharp corners stuck out on the right side too much. It was hurting my finger during every shot. I took it off after 10 shots. Very disappointed in the design. Other than that it worked fine.
