Royal Royce of Tigernut flour!!
I can’t figure out how this brand is heads and shoulders above even the best of the other brands- and I have tried them ALL! This one tastes like the creme de la creme! Very fine - but the smell and taste are like no other- nothing like it on market!!!

APRIL 2019. BEST OF THE THREE TIGER NUT FLOURS I'VE EATEN SO FAR
Spera Tiger Nut Flour is more finely ground, very light. no graininess.I use it for making tiger nut butter with coconut oil and eat it right off the spoon for my snack.I like to gently melt the coconut oil. pour into glass bowl (which has a snap on lid.)then, add the tiger nut flour in increments--a few tablespoons at a time--so that it easily stirs into the oil.when it gets to a very creamy, not stiff state, I stop. when I first began doing this I would put in 'way too much flour, and then it was too stiff to chew, for me, anyway. plus I do not use up so much of the bag by keeping it creamy.the coconut oil will somewhat solidify, depending on your ambient temperature.experiment and ENJOY.As of this review date, the other two brands i have eaten have become more expensive than I paid for Spera. the two other brands I have eaten begin with the letters A and G. I savor it so appreciate the fineness of the grind.

gritty texture
The taste of this brand is quite good. It's grittier than another brand I was using but wasn't available to purchase. I tried a tortilla recipe that I found on Pinterest and they tasted like pancakes. I've also made some blueberry muffins and I really notice the grittiness.

Excellent texture for Tiger Nut flour
On my journey to introduce more resistant starches into my diet, I've tried different brands of Tiger Nut flour in breakfast meals and snacks.Wow! I was blown away with the meals I prepared with this flour. I've made German pancakes (Dutch baby), Waffles and smoothies with this bag and in all preparations, I encountered minimal grittiness that is typical of Tiger Nut flour. My spouse who is a very picky eater enjoyed it. Her comment was: "hmm, this is so good. the only thing it's missing is a side of bacon". My 2-year-old toddler simply chowed down on both meals.Back to me. Whenever I have a Tiger Nut smoothie or waffle/pancake for breakfast, no more 10 am hunger pangs. Thanks to the smoothness of this product, I look forward to regular, healthy, and sustainable breakfasts!Thank you!

Addicting
I mix with coconut oil to make tigernut butter and it is so addicting. Strangely, I enjoy the slightly more gritty texture of this brand (and definitely the flavor) over Gemini. I have to limit myself and keep this as an occasional treat though because the 1lb. bag does not last long.

Great taste
I prepare the cereal with hemp milk, some cayenne pepper, pink salt, and cinnamon. It tastes great but rather sandy.

Works great!
For someone on an AIP diet, this stuff is great. It tastes good as a nut butter and great in baked goods. I’ve been really happy with it.
