I have been drinking a matcha latte' every morning for about a year or more and look forward to it every morning. I decided to try this brand because it was less expensive than the one I always use but seemed to be the same description. The color is not the bright green I was used to, but a brownish green. The smell was not fresh and pleasant like my normal product. When it was mixed into the latte' it looked like muddy, greenish, pond water. I don't know if I just got a bad batch, but it was sealed in a foil bag just like the other product always is. I will not buy again and am throwing this out.

This a great product... The color and taste of this product is great. The powder comes in a little air sealed bag, which make the product keeps its freshness. The tin or aluminum canister help maintaining the color and flavor as well. Definitely will purchase this product again!

Average taste and average cost. If you're going to buy ceremonial grade matcha, I would spend a little bit extra to get a higher quality one. You can tell by the color and taste that it isn't the freshest or highest quality, but it definitely wasn't bad.
