Very Detailed Model, Great Quality
As a kid, I used to get the very simple Gundam models to put together. It's been a while since then and I decided to take a break from the usual Warhammer 40,000 minis to take a look at what the Master Grade has to offer. I was honestly surprised when I saw the sheer size of the box that came in. It was huge. And heavy too. There are tons of parts to this thing.Putting the entire model together took me about half a day, there is a great amount of detail as well as a lot of moving parts. The model's articulation afterwards is great and you will be able to pose it really however you want. It comes with plenty of options for weaponry such as two styles for the beam rifle and three beam weapon choices (sword, axe, and one that looks like an ice pick almost). The plastic is colored of course, so there is no need to paint it if you want a clean fresh out of the factory look for the Geara Doga. I, however, battle scarred mine all over. I used my Citadel paints for my Warhammer models (acrylic) and it covered perfectly on the model. It also comes with some decals that you can use if you do not want to free-hand anything on it. Since getting it painted, I have it displayed in my room and love it.Overall, you can't beat the quality of this model. I had a great time assembling it and painting it. The detail in the model makes it well worth the price. If you're a fan of Gundam models, then this is an amazing item to pick up.

Easily one of Bandais finest models.
First thing you're going to notice is how chunky this model is. It's huge. It towers over my Master Grade Zaku collection and just has an imposing, meaty presence that really looks great on the shelf. For the old school Zaku fans, this guy is a mono eye, and while he shares a lot of similarities to the Zaku II, he features an entirely new frame (no parts compatibility that I could find). The panel lining on this guy is surprisingly simple, but I did a bit extra and painted the exposed pistons in the legs and arms gold, and purchased the LED kit for him. This guy works VERY well with the Bandai master grade LED kit.Personally, I feel like the shield and backpack give him a whole lot of presence on the shelf that just doesn't come from a standard Zaku II.I really don't have any complaints about this kit, though I would strongly caution against purchasing it as your first master grade, as the cables can be a bit finicky to keep in place until the armor is snapped on.

My favorite build yet!
This was such a fun build. When it comes to MG, this sets the bar. Including panel lining, it took about 11 hours which makes it great entertainment for the money. I’ve heard some people say they had trouble with the hoses, but I personally did not. If you’re into Gunpla or even just models, I high recommend this build.

excellent modern master grade
excellent modern master grade. Articulate, excellent colour seperation and engineering. Comes with a bunch of accessories and great shelf presence. Probably the best zaku derivative.

In a word: Hefty.
I'll assume you know this, despite the misleading title "Action Figure" doesn't come pre-assembled.As far as Master Grade suits go, the Geara Doga is very sizeable and commands quite an impressive amount of space when fully built. As usual the plastic from Bandai is of great quality and mistakes like blemishing the plastic while removing them from the runners can be minimzed with patience and the proper tools.Articulation is actually pretty good, obviously not the best, I mean look at the armor this thing has, but it's range of motion is excellent and a lot more than I anticipated. There is a decal sheet filled with those tiny "caution" and "warning" stickers that, when applied, (with some angled tweezers!!) give an excellent extra level of detail and makes the suit look very very cool. The head comes with two extra parts so if you wanted you could install a cool command fin, instead of the flat helmet. It comes with two weapons, a beam rifle-esque weapon with a swing out grip, similar to the zaku II machine gun grip, and a shotgun... for space... a space shotgun. it also comes with 3 huge effect parts for a super long beam sword and two beam hatchets. With model kits I find, there is always something that hinders progress or comes out not the best, for this kit, the errors I've encountered are fixed quite easily but I might as well talk about them. The shield, yes it's massive. After building it straight, when put into the arm hole (Which it stays in fantastically and would pretty much never fall out) the weight of the shield pulls down the arm. I fixed this by literally painting the inside of the joint connection to give a little more friction as to avoid this. The yellow tubing comes as a bendable plastic rod, installing them is quite a lot easier than most other suits that have tubing, I found the tubing in the bottom parts of the legs to be a little difficult, patience and concentration won that battle though.Overall there was very little that got in the way of really enjoying this build and the suit. If you enjoy Zeon kits if you miss this one you are doing yourself a disservice. Sorry for the long winded review, I just feel knowing more about the kit before you buy is wise.

this kit is legitimate and well worth the asking price!
this kit DID NOT disappoint! you can not go wrong with this distributor! bluefin so you know it's LEGIT! My kit came much quicker than expected and the box was carefully packed, leaving my model kit box in perfect condition. this is a MG, or master grade so it presents a challenge.
