Martini Chiller set
I was relieved that this arrived as a set of 2 glasses plus chiller bases as the description is not that clear. I was not happy that the stemless glasses will not stand alone, but MUST be placed in the chiller bases. If you are looking for a chiller set that allows the glasses to be used separately, don't buy this. It isn't a real big deal for me, but does mean I have to have other martini glasses, too, if I don't want to mess with carrying around a base and a glass. The glass is decent quality but a little on the thin side - would prefer they were a bit heavier. One of the chillers arrived with a piece broken! So I'm in process of exchangin it as I still like them. With all that said, this is a pretty set to use and to look at.

3 out of 4 are quality control failures
My other half liked the idea of these martini glasses, so I went ahead and ordered a set of two. One of the bowls had a very large bubble in it, which meant a weak point that is likely to break. One of the glass had a chip in the rim that could cut your lip.I emailed CSN, and the really nice person sent a replacement set, even though only one glass was damaged. The new set had more bubbles in the glass and little pieces of glass inside the glass? Remember wood shop, when you sanded a piece of wood, and had little bits of wood everywhere until you blew and wiped it off? Imagine that, only it's glass, and you can't wipe it away, and it's in something you're supposed to drink out of.None of the damage was from shipping - the boxes and styrofoam packaging were all fine. These just shouldn't have gotten past quality control at the factory.

Cool
Cool to look at, and a novelty to use the first couple of times. Then you get over it. They make a mess sitting in the melted ice, and they feel so fragile we hate to use them. They sit in the cupboard and we use regular martini glasses. Bad purchase for the price.

They break too easily
I puled them out of the box and both broke immediately. I got squared away with the company but a day after my new shipment the second of the pair broke also, now i only have one. Expensive for just a stylish way to drink a martini. I had originally bought them because i saw them featured in one of the star trek episodes but- now- it just sits on my shelf.

Super cute and I thought that they'd be functional but ...
Super cute and I thought that they'd be functional but condensation goes everywhere thanks to the ice in the bottom of the cup w/out liquid and then the cone shaped cup dips water all over you as well.

last sip better than the first
There's a time and a place....Yes, the base is huge. Yes, they drip condensation on your lap when you take a sip (the glass sits in a bsse with ice/ice water - that's how your spirits stay cold!). True, you can't work a room with them! However, if you enjoy sipping a martini over a 20-30 minute time period and want each taste to be cold or at least cool without being watered down, and you're relaxing with the base on an end table....this is the way to go.Fragile? Well, yes, I suppose. But I've had my set about 20 years and have moved them a dozen times wrapping them carefully and they are still in-tact. Sometimes I go a year without using them, but never regretted the purchase.Bone dry Kettle One, up, Olive, please,

Best martini glass - EVER!
I bought two of these glasses a while back - LOVE LOVE LOVE them! Ice in the bottom portion - your drink in the top - it keeps your drink very cold without getting watered down. Highly recommend them for people who like cold drinks - not must martinis.
