It's great, except the length of material near the top of the door is completely useless. I wish there was a way to tuck the strap in, or have a hook on it so that a whole foot of it isn't wasted, vs my hats near the carpet within dog reach. Hanging it upside down solves that problem, but then the hooks won't work.I needed EVERY SINGLE HOOK because I like my caps and because of that wasted space, it doesn't look like the photo at all. It's very cramped and a few caps fell off the hooks.MOST of the hooks stay in place. They adjust really easy, just pull, so sometimes you have to find a "sweet spot" to get a hook to stay put if your cap is weighty.I'm not gonna return it, but I feel like I could have done better.

Its just ok. It is much longer than the average door and therefore does not hold at many hats. Also the rope that hangs to the door does not come attached and I just had to tie it to the metal hook because it doesn't show how it should be attached. The hooks that hold the hats don't hold all hats. Most baseball caps will hang with the exception of fitted caps. It they have an adjustable strap that is somewhat stiff it will hang no problem. It's cheap and it works for most hats, so that's what matters I suppose.

When I received the item, there were no installation instructions, but it's easy enough to figure out without them. Installation was fairly quick and easy.The biggest problem I have with this product is the individual hangers. If a hat has a adjustable strap in the back, it works great. If it is a fitted or FlexFit hat, it tended to fall off because the hanger just doesn't have enough depth to keep it there.I would definitely buy this rack again if I needed to. But you may want to think about something else if most of your hats are fitted.

Almost a perfect design.Fits on a door great and the hooks are adjustable and (for the most part) stay in place (teeth at the base of the clip).... but like many have complained the hook that holds the hat is too short to prevent the hats from falling off when door is dumped or opened.I ended up attaching small blinder clips to the tip of the hook and viola, problem solved. All in all worth the price for the organization help

It works fairly well. I had hoped that it would have hooks on it to clip the hats to. As it is, you just set the hats on the plastic "hooks". When you go to hang a hat up again, the hat above it tends to fall off. I would purchase again if it had clip hooks. It did get most of my husband's hats off of the closet shelf, though, which was my goal.

I ordered this a few weeks ago, and just got to putting it up. It was so easy, the hardest part was deciding Wich hat to put where. Problem is I found we have way to many hats. So I ordered another set. I would use it for hats, scarfs, and that sort of thing, but it’s really not suitable for heavier items like purses. The customer service and feed back from the company is awesome. Definitely give this item a try, it’s inexpensive, and works for what I bought it for.

Awesome gift for organizing hats. The clamps should have been easy fit for all doors and the things the hats sit on could have had clamps so hats would easily fall off otherwise it gets the job done

I took a risk on cheap and lost. There isn't an ounce of durability. The picture shows the hats overlapped but if you try to tuck one under the other they fall off. Posing that picture must have been a nightmare. I would say you could hold 8 hats max and I'm sure they would fall off when you shut the door. Don't waste your money. Go buy those comand hooks and stick them to the back of your door.
