Direct Match Mr Steam MS225
The part was a direct match for the MS225 unit. I was concerned the description listed the element as ----CMS but you can see the part is stamped ----CM. The element also comes WITH a gasket and 3/8" nuts so there is no additional items needed for replacement. I included the instructions that show tightening to 73 in-lbs (6ft-lbs) and not the 22 ft-lb you find on line, which never made sense.

Back up and running
Customer service from Mr. Steam was excellent.They made sure I had the right part number for my 15 year old unit. It took me about a hour to remove the heating element, vacuum out the scale build up and put the new one in. The unit works like it's brand new. Very satisfied.
