As the years go by, things just get heavier....which is the reason to replace my wooden ladder with a light weight easy to carry one to change lightbulbs and wash curtains in my high ceiling apartment.

I bought the Hailo 5-step ladder expecting it to be the same as my Hailo 4-step ladder only taller. My 4-step ladder has a safety handle at the top. This model does not have the pull-up safety handle. As a senior citizen, the safety handle is very important to me. With the 5-step ladder, I can reach my 9 foot ceilings. However, with the safety handle missing, I don't feel secure. I would recommend only buying Hailo ladder models that include the safety handle.

This is a wonderful ladder for women. It folds really thin for storage and feels stable and has a wide top step that one can actually stand .

The ladder is not what I was expecting, feels very unstable

Light weight, strong and stable ladder for in home use.

We needed a tall ladder to paint walls and didn't want heavy ones. This was light enough but not very sturdy and it wobbled and made noise every time we stepped on. Didn't fall and completed job but wish it was sturdier.

They are lightweight and can handle a lot of weight
