compared to US sizes, quite small. at 5'2", 128 pounds, medium-waisted and medium-chested, the size Medium = Asia Large was a bit snug in the hips and the bust, and only came to mid-thigh in the length. it worked well for the Japanese-themed birthday party we attended, everyone understood it was part ironic and part homage, and not cultural appropriation or racism.
