Super cute earrings that I wore for Halloween. Got lots of nice compliments on it. Doesn't come with any backs but the hook shape keeps it in place (I was riding my bike and didn't even worry about it flying off cause the fit was so snug). Definitely an earring that I can wear at other times as well!My ears tend to be rather sensitive to earrings that aren't real gold or silver so I was worried that they would start hurting throughout the day (beauty comes with pain, am I right?). I was really pleased when I made it through the day and was pain free.

On a working weekend in Port Aransas, Texas, which is near Corpus Cristi. Last time we were here we visited their excellent aquarium and I bought a wonderful long sleeve sweatshirt with a gorgeous octopus on it. I have always wanted earrings to wear with this and I was delighted to find yours! We are going to dinner tonight after successfully completing our project and I will be wearing both the shirt and my new earrings. I'm sure they will invite comments. :) Candace

Other reviewers had prepared me that these would be small, i.e. the octopi are about 3/4" in size. So I went to both Michaels and Hobby Lobby, and picked out some antique brass color jewelry findings to create a new, longer pair of earrings for myself. Problem solved. I bought these to wear with a Red Hat pirate costume maybe once a year, so they're perfect for what I need. If someone wanted these to wear more often, the color on the metal might not hold up. But they suit me just fine.

The earrings are as I expected. I am not sure about the type of metal in the ear wires, so I coated them with clear nail polish before wearing. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I'm unsure about the ear wire materials. I've had a lot of compliments!

Bought for a steampunk wedding. These came with a strange metallic smell but they look good. You'll need earring backs/stoppers to keep them in place.

I love these and wore them although one of the earrings have a defect : ( the bottom leg loop has a gap (looks like not enough was used during pouring and left a gap).I wear them anyway,
