CAS HanweiMokko Style Renshu Katana Samurai Sword

It's Beautiful but simple. It came very sharp is is very well made.

The bi-ho makes a nice whoosh sound when you swing the sword properly. I used milk jugs filled with water for targets; cut clean through like they were nothing.

Really happy with this sword. Feels and cuts great.

Handles well, nice balance and heft, but totally dull. As such something to hang on a wall. For close to 300 dollars this is a factory made ornament for people who do not understand anything about kenjutsu. This blade will not cut tatami and, I did a side by side comparison with other blades cutting tatami of comparable density. This blade was the worst of any I tested, and I will never buy another Hanwei,

Don’t buy you loose money. I was not test metal quality but overall sword looks rough. Nothing about attention to detail at all. And when you return that company keep some of your money. perhaps also a way to make money on inattentive buyers.

Looks good and I hope when it arrives it's as good as it looks. a little worried about some of the other reviews that said it was completely dull etc so I hope that's not true. I'll give it a five star for now because I have owned this brand before so if it comes defective in any way I'll have to adjust my rating accordingly.

The sword I received was surprisingly well made. For a budget line from Hanwei, this katana was near perfect. The tsuka ito was super tight, blade is razor sharp....all fittings are tight. I really lucked out with this one compared to some other Hanwei's I've bought. However I have not cut with it yet. The blade is thin, (under 1/4 inch), but that is by design...reviews on YouTube shows this blade will cut 2in bamboo with no problems. WIth the great price I got from Amazon I'm very happy and impressed with my purchase.

This is a beautiful Katana. It is very well made and somewhat light. The blade is honed to finally very sharp cutting edge, The Tsuka allows for an excellent grip and movability. Only one visible flaw is the Sageo is not tied to the Saya and just hung there. Very displeasing. No problems and only praise for the katana itself.
