Mens 3 Piece Classic Tweed Herringbone Check Tan Slim Fit Vintage Suit

This is literally the only review I have ever wrote for a product. Period! The suit is exactly as shown in the images, I hope I did a decent job at capturing the fit and color of the suit. I am 6’ 2” 210lbs, 42R suit coat and 34-35 sleeve length. Coat and vest fit perfect! Not sure if it shows what size I ordered, but I got the Large. Now, the pants...I like my pants to fit a bit tighter and I like them to be tight at the ankle. I don’t like the ends to flop around over my shoes, so I went to my seamstress and had her take the ankles in a bit, also I wanted the front to not be as bulky around the zipper pocket area. Being that I don’t typically put things in my pockets I had my seamstress sew up the pockets...as you can see now the front zipper area is perfect!!! This suit will make you look important, and for $96.00?!?!? Heck..throw in the $37.00 it cost me to do a few basic alterations and it’s STILL a bargain! Buttons are great, it’s almost a denim like fabric which was what I was hoping for!!! Hit the buy button!!! I promise, I am very picky with my suits and this was almost a do not buy for me....soooooo glad I made the purchase!

I am 6'4, 204 lbs, 34" waist, broad shoulders, and I body build. I ordered a large. The suit is much better quality than I expected. Beautiful suit. Fits great. Pants length is borderline short, no break. Pants waist is a bit big, probably 35 or 36", so fits needing a belt. Tight across chest and biceps, but in a flattering way, not too tight. Vest and jacket button with slim fit like custom tailored.Material is great quality, I recommend.

I was blown away at how nice this suit looked for the price. I bought XXXL which was the biggest size they had, and it fit like the modern slim-fit 42" jacket. It was somewhere between regular and long sleeve length, so the vest and coat would have worked great for me with minimal alterations. The jacket body is too short, but that seems to be the standard with 'modern' style suits. The pants were way too skinny. The waist was too big, probably 38 or 40, but they quickly tapered down from there. If you're really skinny they would work for you, but I'm more athletic and they were just too tight. With that said, I have this problem with most of the new ultra-slim suits. If you love your skinny jeans these would probably work great for you.These gripes aren't specific to this suit. The material looked way nicer than I expected for the cost and it seemed to be well constructed. Unfortunately, the new ultra slim fit makes for strange fitting pants, it's just not for me. I returned the suit, though I would buy it again in a heartbeat if they offered different pants for it.

Wow! The measurements suggested here for this product are pretty spot on! The suit is straight sick! Awesome feel, weight for the price. I am 190 lbs, 5’7”, muscular build and I ordered the XXXL option. This suit had me a little nervous, however, only the pants were a little too big but nothing 2 tacks in waist couldn’t fix! The vest and jacket were spot on! I am a 44S in jackets and 30/31 waist.

I needed a suit on very short notice for an event. Honestly, the pictures do not do it justice. Definitely looks much better in person. This was my first suit I purchased online but I am 100% happy withil it. No alterations were needed. I am 5ft 9in tall and 160lbs. Athletic build. The suit fits perfectly. One would assume it was tailored for me. I own suits to the way more expensive than this one that look less in my closet. I nicknamed it my billionaire suit. I will definitely buy this suit again if needed

This is my first Amazon review of anything ever. I'm writing this for a couple of reasons: how dope this suit is and to help people with my kind of body type choose the right fit.For reference, these are my measurements:Height - 5'7"Weight - 210 lbsShoulders - broadChest - wideWaist - 36-38 (depending on manufacturer)Overall shape - short and roundI read every question and answer, every review, I compared reviews and questions and size charts to similarly made suits. The majority of the ones that had any sizing information were like "I'm 6'9" athletic build, muscular, slim", etc. No one anywhere was like "Yo I'm a bowling ball on legs with T-Rex arms and this is how it fits". Well, ladies and gentlemen, I fit that description. I have a hard enough time buying regular clothes because of my awkward build, so sizing this suit was a 3 hour agonizing process. Here's what I learned!If you have a similar body style to me, go a size higher than what the chart recommends and make alterations as necessary. Trust me. I pulled this bad boy out of the bag and man, it looked great. I couldn't wait to put it on! That process was, well, interesting to say the least. I slipped the pants on and my thighs were immediately sleek and tight as a well fed python. The waist was a bit tight, not super uncomfortable, but buttoning them wasn't a huge task. The vest was the most challenging part. It may as well have been a corset, which was great for making me look like I'm 30 lbs lighter, but not so great for mobility. The jacket fit great aside from the fact that I couldn't button it, but it draped well and fit awesome in the arms. Now you would think this would mean a bad review. No way. It looked really good. Uncomfortable? Yes. Super dope? Also yes.The biggest reason I gave this a five star is the quality. I was smashed into this thing for over 7 hours, walking, bending over, and lifting things. I was in motion for most of that time. Not one stitch popped. Not one button came loose. Everything was still intact when I finally was released from my fabric prison. That alone is a testament to the quality of this suit. It's well made, well stitched, and the jacket is lined throughout. I've seen suits of lower quality that cost hundreds more than this one.I know this review was long but the details are necessary if you're someone like me who a) does not regularly buy clothes online, and b) who has the body type of a bag full of dodgeballs. To all my short round people out there, do not be afraid to buy this suit! Use the chart to get a baseline, get the next higher size, alter it as necessary for a perfect fit, then go out and look insanely dope wherever you happen to go in it.
