They’re easy to install and fit in well with my craftsman house. I was so impressed with them that I went back and ordered enough to replace all the old door plates in my house. It’s amazing what shiny new hardware and a coat of paint can do to freshen up a house.Note: the doorknob and door in the pic are from the 1920s/1930s. The new door plate blends in perfectly.

When you own a home of a certain age, these plates are indispensable for an upgrade or replacement of your mortise lock or the reverse side of your rim lock. They look great and are a great value!

Cheap. But perhaps a practical solution

It's never easy for me to measure over an area that has been pre-cut for other types of things. I had to measure, mark, drill the screw holes and attach the glass doorknobs. Be prepared to take time and not be rushed. They look fabulous!

We will be spraying these with an antique brass finish for wedding décor. We were looking for an inexpensive decorative plate for single-use. If I was looking for something upscale for my home, I would probably keep looking. Note: you get TWO plates per package, not just one. I overbought and had to send 2 packages back.

Great product for my needs. Be aware this product comes with two plates in one package. I didn't know that so I overordered. No problems or scratches. Metal is durable and of good quality.

The written description very clearly stated this was 10"......it is 7".....but, hey, the packaging was 10"......NOT good for consumers who need a specific size. You can do better!
