Can the fuse be changed to a higher one? 30 amps to be specific.

I don't think so. If you look at the product description it says the wire is 16 AWG and is 16 amp. If you look at the closeup of the fuse holder it indicates there is a 10 amp fuse in it. I would think that the max fuse would be 15 amp. If you put in a 30 amp fuse the wire would be overloaded before the fuse burns.

Purchased eyelet terminal. Can anyone explain how hooking this up prevents my car from starting? Car starts fine upon removal.

There is nothing in this part that can physically prevent a vehicle from starting by itself. It would have to be a crossed wire or short somewhere in the connections. The eyelets should be connecting directly to the battery posts. If another vehicle is available to try the part with you can confirm that the issue is isolated to the vehicle or the connector. How long is this. I'm looking for one for my truck to run from the battery to the inside of the truck

The GC018 is only 24" long but we also offer the GC019 12ft extension cord, which would likely be long enough to make the desired connection.

Great little adapter.

Item as described works like it's supposed to. Seems to be good quality. It's not the first time I've ordered the noco brand I have one of their smart chargers and it's a really good charger. What's not to like and it's under $10.

I bought this and installed it on a vehicle in order to run 12 V appliances like camping, showers, coffee maker, or a 12 V electric skillet, or a coffee pot, etc.It is built heavy duty, and I like the fact that it has an automotive type in fuse, built into it with a waterproof cover to protect the fuse.It also has a little flap that closes the opening so that condensation and moisture doesn’t get in there causing corrosion.It’s best to put some dialectic grease on the inside of it before you close it up.
