Sadly, not recommended and especially not at this price. The concept behind the product is good, but the build quality and materials are appalling. I would pay twice the amount for a product like this IF it were better built from more robust materials.Pros:- lights are powerful enough to illuminate the quick through the nail, no more messing around with phone lights to try and find it.- guillotine action is actually quite smooth and feels like a better way to trim claws than the side cutter equivalents.Cons:- build quality is shocking, the light switching toggle mechanism broke within minutes of use- the cutting blade was not properly sharpened with nicks to the blade edge- the cutting blade is also loose, so at the end of the cutting action the blade rides up a fraction and tears the final millimetre, leaving a wragged edge and opening the potential for your pet to pull their claw from you.- Magnifier is a gimmick, the plastic is not clear enough and the light reflects off the internal surfaces making the nail harder to see than without. There's also no need for it when you have the light.

Worst item ever! !! We ended up at the vets since I clipped my dog’s nail into the quick and could not stop bleeding... As he pulled back and forth in shock his paw also got in the way and I just feel horrible. The light is useless and definitely not UV as it can show NOTHING through my dog’s black nails as advertised; it’s already broken in design as it’s impossible to clip their nails in right angle with this item that belongs in the bin! Money wasted and my dog hurt which also hurts me. Don’t buy this!

Fast delivery. Product does exactly as it says. I've only used it 1 of my dogs so far my youngest is a little scared. But my eldest dog she just lay back after doing 1 paw and let me cut all her nails on all 4 paws without fuss. It is a fantastic idea with the light and magnify to see the quick which I always managed to do at least once every few months. No need to go vets now to get her nails clipped. Brilliant product.

The blade was nowhere near sharp enough and broke the nails rather than cut. I have two dogs, one does not like her nails cut. They were impossible to use for her as too bulky and awkward. They are equally difficult to use for my other dog who just lays happily having her nails clipped. Magnifier is blurry and light is nowhere near bright enough to completely show through the nail like in the pictures. A little annoyed at myself for throwing the packaging away before trying them out as now I cannot send back for a refund.

Excellent product helped by the light to show the quick of the nail, I’ve used it on dogs,cats, rabbits and guinea pigs all with no issue.Lightweight and easy to hold in either hand and very easy to operate. Our dog actually sat there for us to clip his nails this time instead of running away.

Brilliant to use on your dogs I wouldn't attempt to use it on my cat. (Not that her nails need clipping anyway) very easy to use and a very useful light comes on so you can see even better.

Oh dear! First try and I caught her quick - blood everywhere! I feel so guilty. Too upset to try again. Good service, rapid delivery, but the blade was loose. I will not use again on her black claws.

Unique design, lightweight and cute. However it need time for my cat to adapt it. May you have a try.
