Great replica
Love this bike. Just wanted a single speed bike to follow my kids around the neighborhood, this fits the bill. I’m not doing bunny hops or jumps, I’m 42, 5’9”, and this is perfect for what I was looking for. I’ve upgraded to seat, brakes, brake lever and pedals, added a kick stand. Removed the front brake cause I never like that one. This bike reminds me of the bmx I had growing up and rode to school everyday, I built that from the 1 speed crank and up with spare parts from friends, so I knew this would be a bike I could work on and add to if I wanted. I had a nice mountain bike but was too much bike for what I needed and just wanted something simple to cruise around the hood. This thing is nice, looks awesome and with a few minor part upgrades it’s awesome.Update: still love the bike, but have added to it improve it, new sealed hubs, taller handle bars, new seat, grips, pedals, chainring, crank. Will probably add sealed crank bearings in future, but have re-greased crank and headset bearings.

Great bike
Bought this for my neighbor kid and it is well thought out and fun for him. I changed the tires to white and a better seat and hand grips and foot pegs and now it’s perfect!

Makes a stellar first impression
Had an original 83 when I was a kid so mostly bought this out of nostalgia - don’t be fooled, this bike is not a high end bmx bike (like the OG) - looks great, geometry and feel are great, quality is what you’d paid for. I bought this as a neighborhood cruiser to follow my toddler around on his strider so I’m okay with the lower quality of all the components - but it’s fun to roll and the hood. Assembly was very easy but the thread machining is noticeably cheap - I was constantly concerned with a reverse thread situation. I have no intent of getting this thing airborne like back in the day, and for sure upgrade the seat and likely the grips and pedals too. I’m 5’11” and the frame size is almost perfect. Fun bike that brings back a lot of memories - recommend with realistic expectations.

A callback to the 80s!
While not a 100% true replica of the 1984 Schwinn Team 24, it's extremely close! Minor differences like the rat-trap pedals vs platforms, and straight vs V-bars might not catch everyone's eye, but the overall build will certainly make you look twice. This frameset is also hi-ten steel, as opposed to the 84's Cro-Mo frame, but at my age, I'm not planning on getting this bike airborne, so it's not a concern. The fit and finish on all of the parts is superb. The chrome is flawless, and almost all of the welds are well-done. One weld on the bars is cosmetically flawed, but it seems mechanically fine. Everything on this bike operates smoothly, and all parts were included. To be completely fair, I bough this at a substantial discount, because it was marked as a blemish. Amazon said the bike might have some cosmetic damage, or be repackaged, but that all parts were present, so I took a chance. I'm not sure how they determine that an item is blemished, but aside from a near-indiscernible corner crush, this box looked new, and was factory-sealed. The only thing I could count as a negative on this bike is the rear brake lever is slightly loose at the pivot, where the front lever is not. Beyond the one sub-par weld and the slightly wiggly lever, this thing gets straight A's. It's great for that adult that won't give up his 1984 Predator 20-inch, but insists that he's not too big for it... 39 years later.

Warped back tire and tires got a bubble
The pedals and the back rim where damaged the bike tire get stuck when I try to take off after stoping and it's not the brake it's the back wheel ,also the tires are very cheap material they got flat right away even with the slime tubes then it got a bubble on the back tire ,the seat is also very bad and no kick stand either ,in all honesty I don't like this bike and should've looked else where first I don't recommend it unless you want to buy a kickstand, tires, tubes, seat, maybe other brakes ,and hand grips, I was going to return but they made that a mission on it's own .

Schwinnggggg
This bike was exactly what I was hoping for. An affordable, stylish, fun and dependable ride. If your some bike snob, this bike isn’t for you. It’s not made of some NASA discovered material, it doesn’t weigh less than your iPad, and it won’t help you make the X Games. This bike is just a solid, sharp ride for the guy who just wants a fun and reliable ride. All of the “cheapo” parts (seat, brake levers) that folks are complaining about are easily replaceable for much less than if you purchased a similar high end bike that came with all the bells and whistles. I’m middle aged and 5’10 and just wanted an easy to maintain bike with no frills. Was not looking for some over the top mountain bike with 56 gears and more shocks than my car, a sleepy beach cruiser with a basket to help carry my baguettes and fresh flowers, nor a road bike that demands a full spandex out and special shoes, and definitely not some ridicously small bmx bike to perform terrible bunny hops and millisecond wheelies. This bike checks all the boxes. And if you’re worried about it being made with the same tincan material that schwinn makes all their Target and Walmart bikes out of, its not. Glad I got that off my chest.

Serves its purpose ...
My son likes the bike, but we did have to change some items out. For reference, he is a tall 10-year-old (5'1"). If there had been other options during this difficult time, I would have returned it, but overall, it is serving its purpose.Pros: The color is just as advertised. The frame and wheels are decent for my son to grow into. It was relatively easy to put together.Cons: We had to change out the seat and the pedals. As others have mentioned, the seat is a very hard and narrow plastic. Not sure how anyone is meant to use it. The pedals are metal and serve the purpose but we opted to change them out so our son wouldn't gash his chins if he slipped off. We'll also be changing out the handle bar pads and adding a kick stand. For the money we spent (and will spend), we should have gotten all these things standard.
