VTech Baby Soothing Slumbers Sheep Mobile

This mobile is adorable, and being that my daughters crib is in my bedroom, I myself enjoy the earth sounds option of this mobile to help me fall asleep. It’s loud enough for me to hear across a very large room, or can be turned down to be quiet for baby if need be. The color changing starts are also relaxing. This is my 12th child, I’ve owned many mobiles. This is a good one, love the battery operated ones. I recommend this one over the few Fisher Price battery operated mobiles I’ve owned, and those were twice the price I paid for this. Also recommend the portable mobile by Tiny Love which we recently bought, but for a crib this is the better mobile. Has remote that can start and stop mobile. Glad I purchased this!

Bought this for our almost 6 month old daughter hoping it would make putting her down, as well as waking in the middle of the night a little easier, she doesn’t really look at the sheep, but loves to hear the music and sounds and stares at the projection stars. This has been a great mobile for us. The sound automatically turns on when it detects her crying (as well as any other loud noise) and I love having the remote to be able to turn the projection on without getting out of bed at night. Absolutely no complaints about this products. Great buy.

We LOVE this item. Our daughter has loved it since she was born. It has a sound and motion activation and she learned very early she could kick her bed or squawk to turn on the music. Now as an almost 3 year old she still loves the lights that project on the ceiling and the music. The mobile part detaches and you can remove the top part from the arm and it rotates on a table top. 100% recommend this!!

Very disappointed in this VTech product.Ignoring the creepy woman's voice that you can't skip if you want music, this projector has completely stopped working less than 2 months after we got it.What we thought was a battery issue appears to be something else. We can no longer use it - if we power it on the lights flash and creepy lady stutters about 5 seconds of audio on repeat. It's like a record that's stuck.Before this issue reverted the product useless I found the mobile lacking compared to ones we had in the past (this is baby 3).- the cry detector setting is a battery hog and super sensitive. Jostle the crib? It'll turn on. Dog barks? It goes on.- the volume is either super loud or so soft you're not sure the music is on- did I mention the creepy lady? There's no way to skip her intro if your turning the mobile on with the remote or manually. The only time you don't hear get is if the music goes on because baby was crying - but then you don't get the lights.Overall I'd say save your money this broke a few days outside the return window, so now we've got a hunk of junk cluttering the closet and I've still got to find a new mobile.

The lights on the mobile are great, my son loved watching them! It’s nice that it’s on a timer and you can choose how long it plays. I honestly find the voice talking at the beginning a tiny bit creepy, but that’s the biggest complaint. I was really excited about the remote feature, but it didn’t really work well for me so it was a disappointment.

Turns itself sometimes when loudly speaking but that's not a big problem as you can just switch it off completely, unfortunately you cannot turn this feature off by itself and you cannot turn it off completely from remote.The good thing is that it never turned on by itself in the middle of the night for no reason which was our concern.Batteries lasts for about a month. Melodies could be better, I hoped to get forest sounds that I heard in store on some another VTech model. The singing voice is rather irritating so we skip first couple of songs everytime. You can also hear crackling from the speakers on loud setting.The remote is not really necessary because it turns on automatically when the baby starts crying and turns off after several minutes, we never had to use it so far. As I mentioned you cannot use remote to turn mobile completely off so it's not usable.I would recommend this product.

I don’t even know where to start with this. So l’ll try to do a list of pros and cons.Pros:CuteKeeps baby’s attentionCons:Does not last long on batteriesWeird song choicesCreepy lady singing off keyRandomly does things on its own and wakes babyMalfunctions often and sounds even creepierWe are so tired of changing this thing’s batteries every two weeks! The mobile will often stop playing whatever I set it to (like nature sounds or non-singing music) to abruptly play the weird lady yawning and saying “sweet dreams baby” over and over. It’s creepy and wakes the baby! We’ve gotten so sick of it doing weird stuff that we use an old phone to play lullabies instead.The only plus is it’s cute. Baby loves looking at the lambs.
