If You use with traditional South African cooking methods is excellent!
Not a dutch oven in the American style. Is meant to have food added in layers and cooked low for a long time. Put it on in the late morning , go have fun and come back to a wonderful dinner in the evening..Works very well. Season and maintain like any cast Iron product.
