Think before you buy. It sheds.
Sheds. Sheds crazily. The fleece looks beautiful but will not be so anymore after first wash. I strictly follow the description and used cold water. But it shed seriously and fluff was all over the floor.But I can tell it should be real mulberry silk because when I put the fluff together and tried to burn it, rotten-egg smell spreads out. So should be legit silk and think over before you buy.

This is a wonderful blanket. I have a king size one and never dreamed there was a children's sized blanket. It is feather light, soft and cozy. How could you not love it!

It stinks of PVC
The blanket has a strong vinyl-esque smell (like fake leather). I took it to the drycleaners as recommended on the care instructions and the smell was still pungent. I'm told Mulberry silk should have no smell at all. Non-mulberry silk, or lower grades of silk will often have a fish odor or sour milk...this was not the case, this odor is like a chemical smell, which I find even worse.
