Easy to install batteries, hang outside unit on a nail, inside unit sits on a shelf. Has been accurate and is easy to read. I recommend this product and would buy it again.

Honest review
Works well right out of the box. So far the batteries have lasted a long time. I was originally concerned this unit would drain the batteries, but so far so good.

Don't waste your money
The remote worked fine until it rained and then died. The opening that tells the temp is exposed enough that rain can get inside and there is no way to protect it and still get the air temp. I would not recommend this product.
