Very Very Surprised -- Awesome Product, Easy to Use
I spent weeks researching NVR home surveillance systems, including several visits to Home Depot. After reading many reviews, I knew I did not want the yuppie consumer brands - I wanted a real surveillance system, based solely on technical specifications and durability. I finally developed my requirements: wireless, NVR with monitor, 2TB hard-drive local storage, 1080p or better, 8 channel, two-way audio, quality phone app, powered (not battery), H.265 compression, motion detection, PIR cameras, night vision, IP67 weatherproof / pre-paired cameras for easy setup. After setting the bar so high, I landed on the Yeskamo product. Still, I expected problems -- there always with this kind of project. But to my utter amazement, everything went off very smoothly and perfectly. I mounted the cameras, got power to each spot, setup the NVR monitor, and then the first time I turned it on, everything worked. Every camera synchronized to the NVR without a hitch. The user manual, and on-screen navigation, were very intuitive and easy to understand. I was done learning and configuring in less than an hour. For your reference, I live in a 3200 sqft brick house. All cameras are outside on first floor and the NVR is inside, middle of house, second floor. That means the longest signal length is about 60 feet through brick, floor/ceiling, and 2-4 interior walls. I had no problems whatsoever – signal strength and visual accuracy, were perfect right from the start. Lastly, I setup the iphone app, and again expected hassles. But again there were none – the app setup was as easy as they get, then I put in my system ID, and had visual on my phone in less than 10 minutes. Local storage is great, the floodlights are just the right intensity to not be overwhelming, and the switch from night-vision to color floodlight recordings is very cool.Lastly, I work in IT and I am never impressed with technology products – I never write reviews. However, this time, I felt it was important to tell you all – there are some products out there that live up to their promise, and Yeskamo has been that for me. I have been so happy with this product and the installation experience that I am already expanding to 8 cameras. One done, 3 more to go, again everything was super smooth. In the end, I would recommend this product to anyone

Works with some Yeskamo NVRs, not ONVIF compliant
I wanted to add a Yeskamo camera to my existing Yeskamo Network Video Recorder (NVR) system. The systems they sell on Amazon show this camera along with the bullet camera used with their NVRs. I assumed it would work with my year old NVR but I was wrong. The description has since been edited to specify it only works with certain NVRs. Read on for my evaluation. -- NOT ONVIF COMPLIANT: First off the camera will only work with certain Yeskamo NVRs. So if you thinking about adding to an older NVR ONVIF system forget about it. Yeskamo tech support verified it is not ONVIF compliant. -- NO INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO INSTALL ON NVR. The instructions are totally for a stand alone camera to be used with a smart phone. Since Im experienced with their systems i knew how to pair the camera to the NVR and that procedure worked but unfortunately the camera would not update video at a usable rate since its not one of the specified NVRs. -- GOOD QUALITY STILL PICTURES: for the little the camera worked with my NVR, which was to provide a snap-snot every 30 seconds, the quality of the still pictures was good. I wish it worked as a motion camera.CONCLUSION: I didnt evaluate as a standalone becuase I have Yeskamo NVRs but have since learned it will only work with certain model NVRs not the year old ones I have (that look identical to older models)

Doesn't Live Up To It's Hype: UPDATED & UPDATED Again
The "floodlight" is not even close to that. It's a few LEDs that don't exactly turn night into day. You can see maybe 10 feet, and lowlight at best. The "alarm" sound is VERY low, closer to a whisper, so, unless you are standing right next to it, you probably won't hear it. Those don't come on at night until you are about 10 feet from the camera. It whispers "Whoop whoop whoop" 3 times, then stops. It is supposed to switch from infrared to color recording when motion is detected. In my trials, more often than not, it stayed grainy black and white, even when trying the various options for recording quality. If you would want to be able to identify someone prowling around your house, with these recordings, you would be hard pressed to identify anyone. The two apps you can use are clunky. I picked IP Pro 3. It's easy enough to set up, no problems, per se. There is no backup battery, only plug into outlet. Nice touch to include a 32g card for it. Seller claims it can run 24/7, constantly overwriting data. There is an away and a home mode, if you want it to not come on. Don't really know what the use is for that. Seems to me, if you are going to put it on home, you can just shut it off, for the same result. The company seems to not want to answer whether I can only see what is happening through my phone. I want to be able to do that on my laptop and PC, as well; but the company has ignored my questions. UPDATE: They sent me a link to download a program to let me see it on my computer; but the link did not work. I'm going to play with this some more to see if I can get it to do a better job; but I am leaning towards returning this, and trying something else. The images in the listing are WAY enhanced. Not particularly honest advertising.UPDATE:After using for a few days, I've noticed that recording just stops for no apparent reason, at no particular time, even when it is scheduled to run 24/7. My network is fine. This is an especially troubling feature. I'm going to test it a few more days; but if it keeps shutting itself off when it is supposed to be recording, it is definitely going back. So, this camera started at 4 stars for me; now it is down to 2.UPDATE on the update:Yeah, it is practically impossible to watch recorded motion detection segments on this thing. When I attempt to, it just hangs there until I restart the program. I still haven't been able to watch it on my PC. Over and over and over. I have now wasted hours on this thing; so it is going back and I am going down to one star, as it does not do the basic function it is supposed to do.
