Amana bits are always upstanding, it did the job perfectly.

Grew bit, dulls fast but for the money👍

Does not make a clean cut.

Bought this so I could profile cut 3/4” material. Great cutter. Love that you get the math data of the online database. Amana is top quality!!!

I am new to CNCing and I bought this bit because I have been using bits just like this from SpeTool. They work ok but just do not seem to stay sharp for a long time. I had heard good thing about Amana bits and thought I might give them a try. I had seen the negative reviews for this bit and was just hoping they got a bad bit or something. I now wish I had heeded their advice because I am out $53.I purchased this bit on Amazon, and when I received it, I could feel the sharpness of the bit. I installed it into my router and started to use it on a project in some maple. It snapped within 5 minutes. The cut depth was only 3/8" deep and I was going at a cutting feedrate of 10 in/min (well under the 70in/min rate suggested on the Amana cut sheet), and a chip load per tooth of 0.001 in (half the amount suggested on Amana cut sheet). After it snapped, I put the dull SpeTool bit in, and it completed my project, which ran for 2 hours. Guess I will stick with my first choice.

Rough on the plunging due to geometry, found it to be splintering maple at high speeds. Don't understand the hype on this one.

I'm cheap .. i hate buying overpriced bitsthat said i love this bitI have 2 cnc machines and i use this to cut acrylic, wood and mdf.. it is by far the best bit i've used for this and the price isnt that badwould definitely recommend

Slipped from collet and snapped off on the 1st use. And yes, I had it in there right. No it wasn't s wrong sized collet.But I examined it under the magnifying glass and there are air pockets in the casting.

Tool is good but only one arrived and a month later I’m still waiting for the other! No communication from the seller!
