BernatBaby Blanket Big Ball Little Boy Dove

I received this grey garbage in a plastic bag with no label for $12.99. I am holding real bernat 300g yarn that I got from Joann’s in person. You can clearly see the difference. I ordered tan 300g and this clearly is not close to 300g and is a totally different yarn. Amazon is refusing to give me a full refund and expects me to drive 45 mins to return the garbage yarn they sent.

I am SO happy with this yarn! The colors are beautiful. I'm currently making a baby afgan for our great-granddaughter....but I like it so much I'm thinking I'll buy more and make an afghan for us!!!

TLDR: Soft, doesn't shed, watch the price per skein and compare with Joanne's/ Michael's to avoid overpaying!Bernat blanket yarn is my favorite blanket yarn to crochet with. Whether you use it to make an afghan, a baby blanket, or gigantic amigurumi, you won't be disappointed! The texture is so soft and cuddly, it does NOT shed, and there are SO MANY different colors to choose from! I would recommend sticking to the colors on amazon that are offered for $8 or less per skein (i.e., some of the colors are offered for $13 for 2 skeins which is a great deal!) because otherwise you could probably get the same skein at your local JoAnne's or Michael's for $8-$11 a piece depending on their sales/coupons at time of purchase.

First, sorry about the marked out baby face, this is my niece and her mamma doesn't like posting her face on the internet which I get. Anywho -Bernat's yarn! This is my go to for all my nieces, nephews, and god kids when they're born. Their chunky yarn is some of the softest and most durable that I've used. I bought two packs of two (so four in total) and was able to make a decent sized baby blanket, stuffed whale, and baby beanie with still a full skein left. My niece has just turned three months and she loves laying on this blanket and her big brother and sister often try to steal it for themselves (even though they have their own :D). Bernat is a great brand with quality yarn and I pick them up whenever I can.

Nice yarn to crochet with. No hidden knots in either skein.

I crocheted a blanket for a coworker's baby shower. Out of all the gifts she received, this was the one that made her cry. I ordered 3 (6 balls total) and the blanket only took 3 balls, so I'm using the remaining 3 to make another baby blanket.

I used it to crochet a throw and whileni had to adjust to the thickness of the yarn, the results were great

Ordered multiple skeins and the quality was...mostly consistent. One skein was a bit shoddy looking, with the yarn not fully filled in. Thankfully with the stitch I used, you couldn't notice, but that was a bit disappointing. Otherwise, it was enjoyable to work with, and as my blanket got bigger, I felt like I was working in a cloud.

This yarn was an excellent substitute for the Cotton Candy Scarf pattern that calls for a yarn with wool, necessary because of a wool allergy. The scarf is adult size measuring nearly 70" L and 8.5" W. Very pleased with the warmth of the yarn! It's a Super Bulky 6.

Love the color. I'm crocheting a baby blanket for our new Granddaughter. I have not washed the blanket and I hope it won't fall apart.

Disappointed with how many knots in one ball of yarn. One ball had 8 knots another 5 knots i ordered a total of 12 ball every ball had more than 3 knots per ball of yarn.
