BRIGHTLINES Roof Rack Cross Bar Replacement for 2017-2022 Nissan Rogue(Nissan Rogue Sport)

I ordered this for my 2016 Nissan Rogue SL.Shipping was fast.Product - very good quality, heavy and the silver color matched my factory silver rails from Nissan.Instructions to install were clear and concise. Each bar was labelled, FR (front), RR (rear) with label on the top to say FRONT of vehicle.Fit - these rails fit perfectly. No adjustments were needed to make this work. Simple.Use - I intend to use these to transport my SUP (Stand-Up PaddleBoards). With foam padding (purchased separately) these will work perfectly.Contour - It should be noted that they are not quite flat. These rails are angled and might not work with other devices. For my purposes they are perfect.I installed them myself (5'4" female with limited assembly experience) and never felt stressed. Remove caps from factory and screw in bolts to hold rail. 4 bolts for each rail.I would highly recommend this product.

I highly recommend these roof cross bars for your Nissan Rogue. I purchased them to carry my canoe. It was very simple to install on the roof. Only 4 screws (supplied). Used the allen (hex) wrench that came with it. Literally took less than 10 minutes to install. You need practically zero mechanical ability to install. The bars fit perfectly. I did not have to force anything to fit. Importantly, it is very strong and the color perfectly matches the factory roof rails that run the length of the roof. I am very picky about the color matching, too. I would have sent them back if the color didn't match. It arrived well packaged, too. No scuff marks or scratches. Plus, it was about 1/3 the price of the local Nissan dealership. I searched Amazon and many other sites before deciding on these. I am very pleased.

For the price when compared to OEM they look good and fit well. They are not OEM perfect though. 3.5 stars. Slightly better than 'it's OK'Install is straight forward and takes about 15 minutes. One important thing to know that isn't anywhere except in the original Nissan instructions for the OEM rails is that the FR and RR stamps mean - 'front rail' and 'rear rail.' I thought the R stood for 'right' and it didn't make any sense when I looked at the arrow. The crossbars are installed arrow pointing forward which is all you really need to know.The adjusting screws are pretty poor quality. One of mine was almost rounded out from the factory. They also stick up. which apparently is the same as the Nissan ones for this vehicle but could scratch stuff. The front bar fits perfect. The rear bar is off by about 1/4". It bolts in fine however.The bars are metal. The ends where the bars mount to the side rails are plastic. They seem like they will hold up.As some reviewers have mentioned, the crossbars are angled when looking at them sideways.The one in the front slopes down towards the back of the car and the one in the back of the car slopes down towards the front of the car. Additionally, they have an arch to them which seems a little odd but I started looking around at other cars and it is not uncommon.Update: Probably not a deal breaker but the paint on plastic end on the driver's side front has come off - looks worn off but I can't imagine why except for the wind. It's past the warranty period for me by a couple of months but if you buy this, you might want to check the paint just before the warranty expires.

Fit my 2015 Rogue perfectly and the paint matched the rails exactly. Installation was a breeze also. I used a 15 cubic foot cargo box on a trip from Phoenix to San Antonio this last Christmas and the rails held up through snow, ice, and rain without warping, bending, or adding any noticeable noise. I would recommend these bars especially if you don't want to spend dealer money; these are an absolute terrific value and functioned well with 100+ pounds of luggage (evenly distributed of course). The cargo box that I have installed on it is a SportRack SR7040 15 cubic foot box which fit on the rails perfectly.

Fits my 2018 Rogue perfectly and matches color exactly!Very easy to install. The most difficult part of the installation was removing the hole plugs Nissan inserts in the mounting holes. For those concerned about self installation, here are instructions:Always protect your vehicle roof with something like a towel where ever you are working!Before beginning, remove the inserts from the mounting holes (if there are any) and loosen (do not remove) the four screws holding each crossbar together.1. Select one crossbar to install2. Position the crossbar on your roof protection at the correct location, facing the correct direction (the crossbars are labelled for both)3. Position one end of the crossbar and, using your fingers only, start the two screws for that end. Screw them in only enough to insure they won't fall out while you continue the installation. Leave them loose enough that the end of the crossbar will wiggle when you move it.4. Repeat #3 for the other end.5. When you are confident that you have the correct positioning and all four screws started, then hand tighten all four mounting screws, and then use the enclosed allen wrench to tighten all four mounting screws.6. Now re-tighten all four screws that connect the three pieces of that crossbar together. Never tighten any screw to the point that you are in danger of stripping the threads or the screw head.7. Repeat #2 thru #6 for the other crossbar
