Bridginess: More of the Civil Engineering Life

I gave this to my son-in-law as a gift. He is a civil engineer, and he enjoyed this book.

For a civil engineer, Brian Benner picks up a lot of what we find interesting and funny.. So for the infrastructure nerd like me, it's a very funny book that also seems to bring attention to the issues that we face as well. Would recommend for any engineer or other person who loves technical stuff, but also has a sense of humor about it.

A wonderfully funny, witty book about the engineering way of looking at things. You don't have to be an engineer to enjoy this book. Buy it--it will make your day!

I read this book after meeting the author. He has a dry, droll sense of humor that comes across in the book. I'll never look at bridges the same way again. This is a quick, easy, laugh-out-loud read.
