We bought these at a discount for our honest review. We bought them for our son, who spends a lot of time in flip flops, and has very high expectations of them.One of the first things he noticed was that they had very good traction and were made very sturdy. These could be used for minor hiking, as they would stand up to a good deal of abuse.The next thing he noticed was how little his feet felt sweaty while wearing these. The surface that touches your foot has ridges which allow some air flow, keeping sweat from being trapped against your foot (at least, that's the theory we have devised). Additionally, the ridges give some massaging action to the bottoms of your feet as you walk. These ridges are not sharp or extremely hard, so it doesn't become painful over an extended period of time.These turned out to be a very good value, well-made and they look nice enough to be "dressy" flip flops during the summer.

I love, love, love these flip flops! I ordered them for my son as his were starting to wear out and they have quickly become his go-to shoes! Of course it's summer and it is HOT where we live so we wear flip flops year round. They are very comfortable and cushiony under your feet. The bottoms are also not slippery because of their nicerugged design. The straps are cloth and comfortable resting on your foot and between your toes...Can you tell I love them as much as he does! They were the perfect size and some of the most comfortable sandals he's ever owned he says. After reading a few reviews that stated that the foot base was soft I ordered these. The foot base is firm but not hard, it is not soft. I was looking for the same cushion as a Hound, Teva or OP sandal with a fabric strap top.The heel bar is interesting to step on and my heel lands on it in the middle or the edge. Size 9 fit as expected on my size 9 feet. The straps are slightly loose which is good.

I was really excited to get these for my 8 year old son, who is constantly growing. Sadly, the bottom layer of sole opened up like a duck bill the very first day. I mended it with some contact cement and clamps, but the other one is now starting to go. Very disappointed in the quality of these sandals.

I bought these as shower shoes for my son at college. They fit was true to size and he likes them.
