Aqua Blue Teal Clear Crystal Peacock Bird Pendant 24 Inch Long Necklace Made With Swarovski Elements

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my wife. This past year she seemed to gravitate to Peacock designs/images so I decided to create a collection of various peacock related items as part of her Christmas gifts this year. I picked up a decorative bowl/platter with an artistic peacock feather, a 2015 peacock calendar, peacock tree ornaments, peacock key chain, and this necklace. I wasn't looking for anything from Tiffany's - Just something simple that reminded me of my wife and something that wasn't too valuable in case the pendant fell into the vise-like clutches of the Special Needs children she aids at an elementary school. The design of this pendant is graceful, but I was surprised that it was larger than expected. I guess I assumed by the price and design, it would be daintier - about 1" high by 1/2" wide instead of nearly 2" high and 1' wide. Maybe I should have looked for any posted measurements too. I don't hate it, but I'm only giving it three stars because if I saw this in a jewelry case, I wouldn't have bought it because the size wasn't what I was looking for. I'm still giving it to my wife for Christmas and if she want's to keep it, I'll change my rating.
