I've been anxiously awaiting her next book...
I read this collection of stories in one afternoon, and like THIS LITTLE PIGGY WENT TO THE LIQUOR STORE and MOMMY HAD A LITTLE FLASK, I will read again and again and laugh every time!Imagine..... a "girls' night out"..... and your clever friend, AK Turner, in her blunt, irreverent style, is entertaining you all with more funny stories in a casual flow from one incident to another. Everyone is laughing 'cause you all can relate in some way.Or, like your favorite sitcom.....it leaves you laughing and wanting more episodes of quirky Turner family life.AK Turner books are favs! When reading on my kindle at night, sometimes I'm laughing so hard I'm afraid I'll wake my husband or fall out of bed. I like ending my day with humor and going to sleep with a smile!

Another great read from AK Turner!
After laughing out loud at Mommy Had a Little Flask, I couldn't wait for Hair of the Corn Dog. And once again, I literally laughed out loud numerous times. I love her honesty and the hilarious, blunt way she tells a story. She also paints a really funny picture of the people in her life, who add even more hilarity to her story. Definitely a fun read, and I'm looking forward to catching up on all her other books.

Ok But Not As Funny as Her Others
I LOVED "This Little Piggy Went to the Liquor Store" and "Mommy Had a Little Flask" ...laughed out loud while reading these...this book was enjoyable but not nearly as funny as the others... I do not think any of them can be appreciated, however, by readers who do not have children, but if you do have kids, you're going to get a kick out of these books.

Not bad...not great.
Cute collection of stories. The formatting, however, is /weird/. I had to blow up my text so I didn't keep missing huge chunks because it was sized funky. Other than that, the stories are fun, but a little judgmental in places and I spent most of the book wondering what the point was - there didn't seem to be a unifying theme.

Ready, Set, Go--Laugh
This is number 3 in Turner's Imperfection series. The first two are "Mommy Has a Little Flask" and "This Little Piggy Went to the Liquor Store." I laughed myself silly all the way through those two then Turner hit with "Hair of the Corn Dog." Her experiences with husband, two daughters, and extended family of in-laws are enough fun to last a long time. Read and reread, laugh, and laugh again! Can't wait until the next book comes out.

Funny and endearing!
I've been a big fan of all of A.K. Turner's books and this latest in her series of parenting muses and funny observations follows suit. Her unique take on parenting probably reflects a lot of other people's experiences, if we were able to voice our thoughts as well as Ms. Turner does. Funny and charming anecdotes are woven throughout the story which stay in keeping with the overall theme of navigating through the often murky world of parenting.

AWESOME...!!
I absolutely loved this book. AK Turner is one of the funniest and most witty authors I can recall ever reading. She has a rare and uncanny ability to describe every day functions, raising children, and social situations in such a hilarious and sometimes naughty manner. Hated to put this book down and anxious to read more of her books. I would recommend "Hair of the Corn Dog" to everyone regardless of Individual genre preferences.
