I have had these headphones for about 8 years now and have been reluctant to use them for a couple of months due to the headband and ear pads disintegrating and leaving pieces all over me. This repair/replacement kit is a great way to extend the life of these headphones. The ear pads are super easy to replace and the headband, while more tricky is also very doable. The video tutorials they provide are easy to follow and very thorough. The only slightly tricky thing, as others have mentioned, is the size of the screws that hold the little clips at each end of the head band in place, which is no fault of the kit. I haven't had the replacement parts on for long so durability is yet to be seen, but so far wearing the headphones is as comfortable as I remember. Perhaps the fit is a tad tighter but I imagine that will break in quickly. The only difference in appearance is that the top of the headband is textured while the original was smooth.

My headphones look like new!!!! This kit had absolutely everything I needed to refresh my headphones including the headband! It comes with tools to remove everything and the video they have on youtube really helps! The materials feel like a nice leather and I have been using them for about 3 months now and they still look new! It was so fast and easy to do, I should have done it sooner had I known! The first pictures are from before the change and the last pictures are after I changed the cushions! I highly recommend this kit!

It’s a good thing that I am very mechanically inclined because it was more difficult to swap them than I anticipated. However, I was successful and my headphones look practically new, except for some wear and tear on the metal parts.

Day one, after successfully installing on my Bose Soundtrue AE2Had these since 2016, and unusable as they were with flattened earcups, I just got off an eye opening BO6 game, been missing out on all that crisp sound.I rarely ever review so this is big! Thanks for giving my old headphones a second life!

item is nice but packaging is bad

Bought this as a gift for someone who loved her 9 year old BOSE headphones, but whose wornout earpads prevented their use. These comfortable replacements fit perfectly, easily put on, for the BOSE soundlink around the ear wireless headphones (Soundlink 2) original purchase in early 2016

While I don’t frequently write reviews I was compelled to do so in this case as I was thoroughly impressed with the design and quality of this product.The headband is very well designed, not installed with Velcro like the competition and it has a great finished look.The feel of the padding is fantastic. Additionally all the necessary tools are included. Couldn’t be more pleased.
