Elmhurst’s Oat Milk Barista Edition is my go-to for frothing at home. While it’s a bit pricier than some other options, I find the value for money to be excellent—especially considering the short, clean ingredient list. Compared to other barista oat milks, this one skips the fillers and unnecessary additives while still delivering on texture and taste.I use it with my home espresso machine, and it froths up surprisingly well—even for someone who isn’t a pro at milk steaming. No, it doesn’t get quite as frothy or creamy as real dairy milk (no alt milk does), but for a plant-based option with limited ingredients, it comes very close. My New Favorite Dairy-Free Milk!

Flavorless and watery, doesn't froth... had been previously frozen?
First time ordered, as an alternative to Califia Farms Barista Blend when it was out of stock, even though this product was significantly more expensive than CF. Not sure if the Elmhurst Barista is always this bad, but it was flavorless and watery and wouldn't froth. Is this typical, or had the product been previously frozen? Will not order again.

Favorite barista oat milk and we have tried many different brands. Great tasting and contains no added oil.

The Best Batista Almond Milk
We have tried numerous Almond milk alternatives over the years. BTW, we grind our own beans and make our own expresso drinks. Elmhurst Almond milk has been my wife’s go to daily milk for cereals and such. Seemed logical to try their Barista milk and it is great. While I am not a big Almond milk person, the Elmhurst Barista is the closest to ”real” milk I have tried. Well worth the cost.
