I have been using this pomade for about 5 years. It is by far, the best pomade I have ever tried. The sheen hides my grey hairs, the hold is amazing, and it's not greasy at all. The smell is just a bonus.

I have used a lot of difference pomades. The issue is that I have extremely curly and thick hair, but I don't want hard clumpy product in my hair. So I came upon pomade a few years ago. I started by using the ones that you can find in the store everywhere, Cremo, American Crew, Paul Mitchell, etc. Every single one of those ends with my hair being all over the place within 2-3 hours.With this pomade I have found that I can get a good mold and hold for the entire day, and because it is so soluble with water, I can re-wet my hair later and reform it if it gets out of line. It also gives a wonderful sheen to the hair, and smells nice as well.Overall, the can itself is a bit pricey, but you get a ton of product with it and it lasts me a few months every time, using it every day.5/5 Recommend

Main point, Reuzel Red is a fantastic water based pomade.It has a medium to medium high hold that can be easily restyled with some water. The hold can be varied depending on the dampness of your hair at application with not all waterbased pomades can easily do.Shine from Reuzel Red is moderate and can be lessened by breaking up the pomade/hold with your fingers. It is a very versatile pomade.Reuzel Red washes out cleanly and when used on opposite days from beeswax or oil based pomades, will clean the hair without using shampoo.Scent is a nice pineapple top note with a mango/coconut base.I have no complaints with this pomade and consider it almost as good as Uppercut Deluxe.

I've tried many different products over the years and haven't been completely satisfied. I'm so happy I've discovered Reuzel. I've got thick wavy hair that can be quite stubborn at times. The Red Pomade gives me the hold I want with the flexibility most desire, and with a wonderful sheen and did I mention the smell! Oh my, the best smelling pomade hands down that I've tried so far. Regarding hold, if you want a rock hard super hold this is NOT the one for you. I will be trying the Blue Pomade just to see how much stronger the hold is. I wouldn't mind more myself, but no complaints from this one, just preference for windy days.- Smells wonderful!- Great hold, but still flexible (gives your hair spring/bounce back)- Beautiful shine, not crazy, just right.- The 4oz is the perfect amount/size. I suggest if you really are cautious try the smaller size but this is the standard.- I almost forgot, great price for what you get, that's called great VALUE!Cheers!

I have been using Suavacito for years, but now I prefer this product. I still use Suavacito but I find myself using this more and more. So far its a five star pomade.

I been using this product for well over a year and won’t use anything else! I have very thick hair and only need a small amount to last all day plus doesn’t dry or flake in my hair.

I've tried other water-based pomades and fiber/clay products (ACrew, Suavecito, Fiber Grease), but after multiple cans I definitely consider Reuzel my brand at this point.I alternate between the red can and the dark blue fiber can. Red for shine, fiber for matte. Both smell incredible, as in not floral and perfume-y (ugh) and wash out easily with no residue. Red gets slightly crunchy but nowhere near as bad as the gel you used in middle school back in 2003. Face it, you had Guy Fieri flavortown hair.So if you want sophisticated style and don't want to impale a bird every time you throw your head back, get Reuzel Red
