Almost as good as a $200 pair of Glasses.
I just received these glasses yesterday, but I just got home from a long bike ride and used them. The reason I bought them was because I dropped a $200 pair of Ray Bans off a sailboat. (Ouch! I know! wasn't even drinking). I replaced the Ray Bans with another $200 pair but figured," what's another $35 bucks for an extra pair of glasses I won't be as sick about losing?" I wanted to compare them to the Ray Bans. The Ray Bans are slightly better but not $165 better. The Ray Bans are a little better when the sun is not very bright or if it's a bit cloudy. Also, these glasses very very slightly impair depth perception but you adjust to that after you've had them on for a while. They are very good glasses that are very close to Ray Ban's. I do a lot of Triathlons and lot's of biking and used my old Ray Bans. These will be just fine. They come with a bag and a nice case too!

Best polarized sports shades I've tried (and I've tried a lot)
I've tried out a whole bunch of different polarized sports sunglasses over the years (I'm really picky when it comes to my shades) and these are tops in my opinion. Best part they are not crazy expensive sunglasses, but are designed like they should be. I really think all those crazy expensive brands are just jacking up the price because Shields are right on par with them.Construction is solid.Lenses are crystal clear, polarization is pehnominal.Fit is adjustable and they end up fitting me perfectly thanks to that!I use them as my running sunglasses and wear them when I go out too. They're holding up really well and they look awesome, so why not?Seriously this is a crazy value when you throw in the heard case, soft case, and microfiber cloth. I am absolutely 100% satisfied with this purchase. I'm going to get 2 more pairs because I assume they're going to be selling out quickly!

AMAZING POLARIZED SPORTS SUNGLASSES!
I’ve owned a LOT of different brand sunglasses and Shields are by far my favorite pair. They’re perfect running sunglasses because they’re lightweight and really, REALLY comfortable (I almost forget I’m wearing them sometimes)They’re also awesome as baseball sunglasses and probably the best tennis sunglasses because1.They’re adjustable shades with rubber arms and nose pads. I can get them fit perfectly (even with my oddly shaped head lol) and they never slip or fall off.2.Something really unique… there’s no subtle distortion on the edges of the lenses like EVERY other pair of sunglasses so the I can track a tennis or baseball perfectly. As for the clarity of the lenses… Shield polarized sports shades are also probably the best polarized sunglasses I’ve seen. They’re super anti glare lenses, crystal clear and don’t distort vision like so many other pairs of sunglasses I’ve worn (even the $200+ pairs). These are legit. HIGHLY recommended.

Nice polarized lenses, but didn't work along with hat
The lenses are lightweight and I think priced fairly. My only problem with them is that I cannot easily wear them along with my normal running hats, e.g., Headsweats Go Hat, White/Red . The frame is just too big and pushes the hat up so the sweatband on the hat is ineffective. Thus, they have been relegated to wearing in the car or on non-running days when I'm willing (or required) to forgo a hat.I've only taken off one star because if you don't wear a hat, I think they work well and are a good deal at this price point. I'll continue using my regular sunglass, A728 Sunglasses for Golf, Fishing, Cycling-Unbreakable (Black & Smoke Flash) , which although they aren't polarized, fit well with my running hat.

Cruising in the car on a sunny day
I love these sunglasses. Just what I need. Fit great, super comfortable and no pressure on side of head where they sit (so no headaches, a problem I've had with other sunglasses) If you can relate to that problem, know these sunglasses are light. I feel they are solid, really well constructed, and high quality as I am rough with them. Awesome athletic sunglasses; tennis, basketball, training such as sprints at the field, and fishing and clamming. When I'm clamming I'm standing in the middle of the open bay with the sun shining down and it's reflection coming off the water that's about ankle deep, and these glasses cut glare down to nothing and protect my eyes; the polazired lenses are just awesome. In addition to all the benefits, the sunglasses look really cool; I love cruising in my car on sunny days with these sunglasses on.

Very happy with these.
Ok, frankly, these were better than expected. Nice lightweight product with great facial coverage. I had just had cataract surgery and wanted a pair of sunglasses for use after it. These were perfect for that! Then, I found they were quite nice and good for regular use. Not too dark and not too light as far as shielding against bright sunlight.I found them well worth the forty or so dollars they cost. This review is my own, I received no compensation of any kind for it.Edited to add: I see the price listed above this review is $89. I bought them for $40. When I clicked on the link, it showed the price I paid. Which I consider a fair price still almost a week later.

No soft rubber piece for me.
I must have a fat face, fat nose because I " HAD to get my special ( tiny head ) screwdriver and take off the center nose piece to make it fit RIGHT on my face" . . . . I just put them "ON", out of the box - and they sit high for me and my son, giving no shade on the bottom edge..I was very paranoid I was going strip the tiny screws ! They were tightened in there good . . ..That rubbery center piece ( for those other people with "thin" noses . . . ) felt soft and nice and i was sad I would NOT be able to use it. Rather, I am relegated to the hard plastic of the bridge.
