I rely on Amazon reviews to make decisions. Finding the right fit for clothing outside of the USA is challenging. Here is my experience.My exact size at the time of purchase and fitting.Body type: Ectomorph, moderately athletic, 43yrs old with 2 children.Weight: 138 lbs.Measurements: 35 Bust (wear a 34 B bra comfortably), Waist 28.25", Hips 38.75"Height:5.67'I am a size 6 (although I have gained 6 pounds, size 6 is no longer just right but still works)I first tried the XL. It was too big around the thighs and arms, and the torso too long. Returned.I tried a L. It fit but the zipper pull broke on first try. (Wear suit with zipper in the back). Returned.Order another L. Great! Zipper pull secure. Close fit. Would not consider it snug (I consider snug - feeling resistance when pulling fabric from away from body.) Just right for me.I wear a simple un-padded, no wire bikini underneath for modesty.The extra material under the arms is "unusual" but actually contributed to comfort.It comes on and off with ease.It's attractive, feminine, compared to other suits of this type.It smells like car tires, but scent goes away.Performance - In the water it retained its good fit. It kept me just a bit warmer when I was submerged. It really made a big difference when I got out of the pool. The suit retained some of the warm water near my body and it protected me from the air to water temperature change. I was very comfortable.I left the pool with the suit on. I saved time and hassle (not renting a locker,not peeling a wet suit off my body in public and again not getting cold.) It dried quickly as I walked to my car.. I felt happy and warm.It's a great buy.Thanks.

Just received today, the suit was nice and looked like the photo. My only issue is the fit. I ordered an extra lg and the fit was snug but under the arms was very lose and felt weird. The neck was also very tight. The length was just right. I am returning this as I don't feel comfortable wearing it. I'm 5'1 and 146 lbs

Okay, so I thought I had ordered a different wetsuit than what I got. I thought I had ordered the women's wetsuit with the zipper up the back. I got a wetsuit with a zipper up the front. And I don't regret this difference. In fact, I believe if I got a wetsuit with a zipper up the back, it would have been impossible to get in and out of.I've used this wetsuit in the pool and in the ocean since I received it. The suit has kept me extremely warm. I wear a bathing suit one piece under it. Although I have started to gain tan marks on my arm that is the dreaded farmers tan, I am happier to have protection from the sun over a large chunk of my body.When I first received my wetsuit it smelled awful and very chemical like. I washed it twice and aired it out for several days. The smell has all but faded months later. I am glad I kept the suit, and I use it often. If I put my nose to it now, I might catch a small bit of the original chemical smell, but its not very noticeable when being worn in my opinion. It keeps me very warm, and I feel like I made a great investment. I can now enjoy the ocean and pools even when its colder outside.

I just went swimming in a 60 degree pool! I love swimming but I hate the cold. This got me in the pool swimming with my kiddos. My husband was shocked. Well worth the money. I am 5'9 and got a 2xl.

I bought this to cover a full body lycra suit for warmth. Its thin and light. I'd say 2mm is accurate. My 3mm gloves feel slightly thicker and my 5mm boots are twice as thick.Size wise I am 5.1175ft and about 160-165lbs. In real world I'd probably try a medium. Maybe end up needing a large depending on fit. Here I ordered the XL and it feels perfect. A little tight getting over the shoulders. Which us easier getting on than getting off. I probably couldn't have gotten out without assistance. But the fit on was really perfect. I mean, it's supposed to be snug, it's a wetsuit. Glad I didnt order Large though. And maybe could fill an XXL, but am satisfied with XL just fine.

Great purchase! I was looking for a great combination of material strength, warmth and flexibility to swim in ocean or pool.....this is it. Let’s face it ......sometimes the ocean or pool is just too cold to swim in. I have doubled my swim time by the purchase of this wet suit. It is well made with a great front zipper for easy on and off. Color is awesome and stylish and will make you want to keep it on all day. Wet suits always make you look slimmer than you are. My normal size is 14 (ladies) and I ordered a XXL and it was the right fit. Not too tight or too loose. The right fit keeps the cold water out and your body warm. Most definitely will purchase again.

Very tight on the torso, which is fine, but flabby-loose at the neck, so water pours in as you swim -- i cannot imagine a human being built to fill the neckline. The arms are loose too, and my arms aren't skinny. Water even comes in at the legs, which are tight on me, or maybe it's just running out as i swim. I was very cold and uncomfortable. Wish I could return them but it's too late.

I ordered two size up! I am really glad I did that. I am about 5'10" and 190 lb and usaully wear Large (American size).Even the XXL that I got is a bit tight around shoulders. Relatively easy to get in, but getting out could be a challenge without an extra help!Otherwise wetsuit is great!
