Smartivity DIY kits are great to keep children occupied. Good quality and sturdy buildable kits.But i got one instructions manual printed in spanish for this product

All parts were in perfect condition they all moulded and fitted in their facets in all perfectionIt was fun building it also enjoyable seeing it work

It’s a fabulous product which helps children develop their mental and physical skills. Kind of sharpening their engineering prowess.A good value for money.Suggestion- Product comes in ample plastic packaging, much more than actually required. Would recommend the manufacturer to use less of plastic packaging or replace it with eco-friendly packaging.

Love the idea, its fun to construct. Looks nice. However the wheels are not very free to spin, since there is no bearing, so the launch only moves the assembled car a few inches at best. Buy to build, dont buy to play with.

Bought for my nephew. He liked it. Can't say much on durability for a 6yr old kid toy.

We've gotten a couple of these wooden construction toys from this company. They're incredible. The rubber band based system is easy to manage, resilient and flexible. My 7 year old was able to construct it by himself, kept him busy for a couple hours, resulting a toy he enjoyed playing with.

My 10 yr old is getting better at having an attention span, so could put this together with a little bit of adult help. Pretty fun in the building phase 7 useable for the launching phase. We'll see how long it stays in the top 20 toys. I liked it, and I'm 50...so good for ages 10-50 I guess.

I reviewed a similar item to this recently and wasn't terribly impressed. That's because the parts were small and my son, who is within the recommended age group, broke a ton of parts while trying to remove them. This kit has larger pieces and should be easy for younger kids to remove without breaking. There's still a risk of that, so I recommend that you pop the smaller pieces out in private and then push them back in place before presenting this to your kid.The end product is really cool, and my kid was happy with it, so 5/5.

My son had a great time putting this race car together! At twelve years old, he could handle it completely himself, but we still assembled it together for some nice one-on-one time. :) The instructions were great, and all the parts snapped into place easily and smoooothly, and he declared it to be "super cool!" ;)

This is a gift-quality toy for youngsters who enjoy a challenge at their level. They will be delighted at how much they can accomplish and learn by assembling this car. No messy glue is needed.This company has taken a DIY activity and turned it into a learning experience all in one box. The project comes with two instruction books. One for the car and the other for the launcher. This way the child does one project at a time at their level of speed. No need to rush. They then move to the next project.Both instruction books detail how to remove the parts from the master boards without breaking them. They also mention when assembling the car to listen for the "click" to know the part is seated correctly.The parts are not overwhelming for a child. There are three sheets. That's enough for the child to remain focused and at the same time see the project coming together.The parts are of a good quality and should stand up the the average use from most children.If the child is creative they may wish later to paint the car as another project. Paint is not included but can be purchased for that activity here on Amazon.This is a nice project to y that can give the child a sense of accomplishment when completed. I would recommend it to all the creative children who enjoy putting things together.
