This works great but perhaps for painting it's not as good as the frog brand. However this works well for the price. It just requires a bit more pressing along the edges but otherwise it sticks firm without leaving a trace when removing. It's use is similar if not identical to the brand names. The one thing I wish tape makers do is to set up their tape so it tears perpendicular to the length more easily. I don't know if it's just the orientation of the strands within the tape or not but I find that it tends to tear diagonally. I use this for everything and not just painting. The blue is a bit dark making labeling on it not as straight forward to read.

My husband and I bought a home and are in the process of renovating the entire things. All the walls needed to be ripped out re - installed and painted. I kept running to the local hardware store and Dollar General to buy painters tape whenever I needed it. By the time I got to the 3rd room I was fed up. I did not know you could buy a whole box. So glad I found this on amazon. It works just as great as the other brands that are out there and are popular. I had no trouble with the stickiness, it went on and stayed on as needed and then came right off when it was time to take it off. As for seepage I did not have an issue with this, but I normally apply a coat to seal it before hand. I do this with any painters tape that I use. My main issue with painters tape is the stickiness. Usually with off brands it doesn't hold up well, but this did.

This tape tears a little easily. We are using it to make long “lines” on a court for sports. I have now gotten the hang of it so it’s not so bad. Great value!

To hold plastic on walls kitchen cabinets and furniture

Used these for a paint project in my sons room. The work great and come off easily. Prevented paint color from bleeding. I took paint tape off when the paint was quite dry and it came off easily. Good price for the pack of 6. Want to try on furniture next.

Only left one star because it wouldn’t let me do 0 stars! This tape is horrible. When peeling off the roll it just tears sideways, longways or whatever way. Can not get a good solid piece if you try. Do not buy this!11

Not as good as the name brand . But way less expensive . Works fine in most cases . Not as sticky

I'm in the cabinet refinishing business and use this to mask off inner part of the boxes when the doors are removed works great for keeping the plastic in place while I am spraying the boxes!
