Very nice, sturdy, small bench. Packaged well. This is the black version and it goes well with my espresso bedroom furniture. Forreference, the pillow is 12X20, wall color is Jakarta. Communication with the seller was excellent.

We needed a very small bench to fit in the entry of our new home. Choices for small benches are limited, but we could not be happier with this one. It's well crafted in every detail - flawless. It arrives fully assembled. The black color has a rubbed finish where the edges appear "worn" and brown, which I love. The area under the hinged top is deeper than expected and several pairs of kids' shoes fit inside. I also purchased "Achla Designs Scrollwork Rubber Boot Tray, Medium" which fits under the bench with all 4 legs can fit inside. Snowy weather will be a new experience for us. but now we are prepared, in spite of our limited space, with an attractive place to remove shoes, be they little tennies, grandpa's gardening shoes, or wet muddy boots.

I love this bench so much that I was compelled to write a review! We have a small hallway where our garage door is that’s too small for a full on mud room but we needed a place to sit and put our shoes on. I only had 44” of width to work with but wanted something smaller than that so the end closest to the door wouldn’t block the walkway coming inside. I was hesitant to buy this bench because I thought it was going to be too bulky but I loved the look of it so I took a chance. LOVE. IT. It’s very well made, very sturdy, and nicely sanded and stained. It’s perfect! It’s small enough for my 3 year old to use without help but big enough for my husband to sit comfortably on and he’s 6’ tall and 220lbs. I put his size 12 boots in the picture for a size reference. Yes, it’s expensive for a small bench, but you’re definitely getting a quality piece of furniture and not something you’d find in your local bargain store. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this bench! I will likely end up buying another one of these for my daughters room.

This bench arrived quickly and in excellent condition, and there's more storage space than one might think. The quality and workmanship are impeccable and such that one doesn't often find nowadays, unfortunately. A real gem!

This was a lovely piece of handmade furniture that came fully assembled and ready for use. The wood and finishes were exceptional. The only problem I have with it was that one of the legs is just slightly uneven, so the bench tends to wobble slightly without the small support we placed under the short leg. Otherwise, we really like the bench, and it works well as a place to put on or remove boots in our New England kitchen.

The storage bench fits perfectly in the foyer of my home.

I had no problems w/ shipping. Package arrived fully assembled. I literally pulled it out of the box and set it in its place. For now, I wanted to utilize this bench in the limited open space I had next to our aquarium. The bench is located in our foyer and provides a comfortable seat for one person to sit and enjoy the aquarium. It can also be used to sit down and put shoes on before heading out the front door. The bench has a nice storage compartment, of which we have not yet decided what to put in there. Overall, recommend.

Appreciated the unfinished option, so we could stain to our aesthetic.
