I read all the comments but ignored several. Turns out it is true that the beautiful face of the clock is too dark and can't be seen except in the brightest light. You also can't always read the clock hands. It is also true that there is no volume control and the bird sounds are extremely low. In fact, I can't even hear the clock sitting 6 feet away from it, but I do wear hearing aids

I love the face of the clock, very colorful with the Spring Basket with the 3 birds perched on the Basket. But I am very disappointed with the bird sounds, you can barely hear it, even if you place in a brighter light.

Cute and has bird sounds but is always either fast or slow.

Very pretty clock. Seems to keep time well except around the top of the hour. I gave it 3-stars because the bird sounds are variable in their quality - some are very muddy and very hard to distinguish or recognize and others are the more shrill calls for the particular bird, for example the Blue Jay. They are also not as loud as I would like. I keep this clock 5 minutes fast so folks know when we are almost at the end of our conference calls. I like that the mourning dove is at 7:00 - good bit of humor on someone's part here. The only problem with this clock is that the bird songs are higher pitch and faster than natural songs. We have several bird clocks that are all consistent with the natural calls, but this one is higher.

If I could leave no stars I would . Ordered one, came with broken minute hand . Refund received and sent it back.!ordered another one , same identical problem.
