Doesn't Decode AC-3 Audio
Would be a nice budget STB, however it does not decode AC-3 audio. An external DAC would have to be used to pass-through and decode programming with AC-3 audio.Initial video out is set to PAL, so it may be an issue depending on your TV.Web features didn't seem to work anymore, and getting connected to Wi-Fi is challenging.Satellite list is also outdated, so you'll likely need to add your satellite information manually (123°W Galaxy 18 wasn't on the list) when setting up.It did receive Galaxy 18 without issues, and the SD channels with MPEG audio came through fine, as did the two radio channels.If the only need is for a basic DVB-S2 STB without internet features, and the AC-3 audio limitation isn't an issue, then this is an ok box with a nice build, compact design, and aesthetic appearance. However, its probably best suited for someone with experience with FTA satellite use.
