Oppenheimer Kosher Lactose Free Dark Chocolate Chips 3 Packs

I needed non-dairy white chocolate in a hurry and I can't find it in stores in my area so I ordered these. I have to admit I was skeptical because there were a couple of negative comments, but after tasting and using these I have no idea why. I tasted them immediately after they arrived (in 2 days) and wow - they are delicious! I had no problem melting them and they were fantastic in my vegan peanut butter cups. I will definitely buy these again!

We've used these to make chocolate lollipops. It is a little slower to melt, but works very well and solidifies with a shiny sheen. It is very sweet, like all white chocolate, and it appears to be one of only two brands of dairy-free white chocolate, both kosher from Jerusalem. Probably most candy makers know this, but in case you are a newbie like me, we tried to use natural food coloring (with an ionized water base) and it makes the chocolate seize up. But, on its own (or probably with a gel-based food coloring), it works great.

This is my favorite vegan white chocolate for baking, and you definitely can't beat the price for a 3-pack. They go very well in cookies (I bake an award-winning lemon white chocolate chip cookie with these), as a decorative element, and for coating candies. It melts well and tastes pretty good, though I can't say I want to eat the chips by the handful themselves. Definitely complements lemon, chocolate, and peanut butter flavors well, in my experience.The texture is a bit off if you try to turn it into a chocolate bar, however. It doesn't really work as the central/main element of a treat--I think it could probably use more cocoa butter for that. My quest for a dairy free cookies and cream bar will have to continue!

My boyfriend is lactose intolerant, but lovessss white chocolate macademia nut cookies. I thought I would try making a vegan version and when doing research this one had the best reviews for price and bulk. My bf loved the cookies with them! They definitely are a stronger vanilla flavor and pretty sweet. They don’t completely twin real white chocolate though. They do taste great in blondies and cookies though!

I was excited to find vegan white chocolate chips, but these aren't quite what I was looking for. The flavor is closer to candy coating than real white chocolate, and the taste is too sweet. I tried to make white chocolate truffles with them, and it just didn't work out. The texture was fine, but the flavor was way off. All in all, they're ok, but not great. Use them where they can play a background role (maybe in cookies with nuts or spices), but not as the main ingredient.

These are good and quite sweet. My customers love them. I'd highly recommend ordering and stocking up during the colder months as this company takes ZERO liability and ZERO steps for the packaging. They will come melted together if you order in the warmer months. Other companies send their chocolates with cold packs, but not this one and they sadly, make a point of it.

These are so good. I really don't know why there is dairy in white chocolate if it taste the same without dairy. These had no dairy & were very good. I used them for melting into molds. They melted perfectly. I also used them to make modeling chocolate my adding some corn syrup and then melting it in a stainless steal bowl over some hot water. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed. Plus there was a lot in the bags.

I love baking and had wanted to bake reverse chocolate chip cookies (basically dark chocolate cookie with white chocolate chips)....but could never find vegan white chocolate chips (not in Whole Foods in NYC even!!!)....then I found these...not only do they bake well, but they taste great.....a non-vegan friend ate some and said these chips were the best white chocolate chips she ever tasted.....The price is reasonable (considering....) and I am reordering more now!!!
