I like this mat but there is one draw-back: it's slippery for non hot yoga.Pros:The cork is eco friendly, non slip when I'm sweaty.As a yoga semi-novice, I really like that the cork color blends in with the flooring color of most yoga studios. (I'm that low key, sit in the back-type. I won't use a brightly colored mat... or anything, really.)The design has a nice side-product; landmarks. As a new-ish yogi, I like that there are locations on the mat that I can quickly return my feet and hands to get me back in proper position. This wasn't a selling feature when I bought i but really like it now.Con:The only critique of cork that I have is that it's slippery when dry. Ironically, I purchased cork primarily due to the fact that my old mat was slippery when wet (but gripped well when dry.) Cork, on the other hand, is slippery when dry. In fact, sweat helps grip on cork. Hmm, what to do? I'm trying a couple of things including roughing up the landmark locations on my mat (mostly the slippery problem is at the feet location). I'm trying sandpaper and cross-hatching those spots for grip. So far, not a perfect solution.Still, I like this mat far more than my old/traditional mat.

I love this yoga mat. It's all natural materials (cork and rubber) and it's very comfortable. I purchased this one on Amazon two years ago, use it every day, haul it around everywhere, and it's still in perfect shape. I haven't had any issues with cork coming off like some other reviews. Also in general I don't slip on this mat, only on rare occasion with very wide leg standing poses. I think this is a great buy and I've been very pleased with my purchase.

I absolutely LOVE my yoga mat! The cork feels amazing and soft. The mandalas help me orient myself but add a lot of beauty and joy. It smelled pretty bad for the first few weeks that I had it because of the rubber bottom (which definitely does the trick for gripping and keeping it from sliding), but I combated it with some perfume and now that it's aired out a bit I enjoy it every day I do my practice. It's heavy-duty and durable. It's easier to clean than I thought but I also try to keep it clean so I haven't put it to the test.

I've had for 5 months and it's already falling apart. I use it in my bedroom so I have never rolled it up. I feel for the price it should hold up longer

arrived as described, very pretty, non slip while practicing. I have always folded my mat into half before rolling it up in order to avoid getting dirt from floor on my practice surface. I am concerned that this mat is developing a crease where folding. I hope the cork continues to adhere. So far so good!

I was excited to receive this as it is my first cork yoga mat. Upon a quick look, it is beautiful, but the layer of cork is very very thin, and there are a few places where I can see the rubber on the other side. There is also a random piece of blue (plastic?) in the cork. You get what you pay for I suppose. I worry about the durability, We’ll see how long it lasts.Aside from that the cork is silky smooth to the touch, and is grippy once you get a little sweat on it. Comes with a nice thick strap

Love this mat. So pretty. I used it in an extremely hot power flow class. My grip was far improved. No slip. Buy it.
